Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000300940001-5 1!"I/NOFORN PROJECT SUN STREAK WARNING NOTICE: SENSITIVE INTELLIGENCE SOURCES AND METHODS INVOLVED -------- PROJECT NUMBER: 8801-----------SESSION - NUMBER:-2 -------------- DATE OF SESSION: 25 Mar 88 DATE OF REPORT: 28 Mar 88 START: 1405 END: 1435 METHODOLOGY: solo) VIEWER IDENTIFIER: 099 ----------------------------- 1. (S/NF/SK) MISSION: Describe the prototype object located within the building at encrypted coordinate 113096/532189. 2. (S/NF/SK) VIEWER TASKING: Same as above 3. (S/NF/SK) COMMENTS: The viewer describes the prototype object as a long burnished-colored, metallic "tube" (see sessions 09 Feb 88 and 18 Feb 88, viewer #003). At one end of this tube' is a box-like assembly which contains something similar to fan blades that may spin (see session 18 Feb 88, Viewer #003). Viewer #099 describes this device as being "frighteningly Powerful and appears to have something to do with radio frequency energy (see session 18 Feb 88, viewer #003). HANDLE VIA SKEET CHANNELS ONLY SPECIAL ACCESS REQUIRED MONW"P/NOFORN Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000300940001-5 Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000300940001-5 099 25 Mar 88 1405 - 1435 (Tasking: follow-up on 15 March 88 session) Summary: Many workers--men and women technicians--enter the target building and pass through a poorly-lit, low, wide, ground level hallway; pipes and conduits are exposed. The work area is a large, square, high, "bay". Many workers are engaged here on a project. Much of the work involves "hands on" fabrication/fitting of small parts (AOL-like bakelite electronic component boxes); bundles of wiring packed together. This project is a long way from completion; much work remains to be done before the "end product" is assembled. (Many sub-assemblies seem to be involved). (Refer to sketch, p.3) In the future, on stands in the middle of the bay, is a long, burnished-colored, metallic "tube", one end of which is connected to a box-like assembly within which is something similar to fan blades (and may perhaps spin). The other end is open. Diagnostics on this device will be performed here, then it will be transported (perhaps mounted atop a large, long vehicle) to a test site. The device, when "fired", is frighteningly powerful; a high- pitched noise is present. What appears to be radio frequency energy/heat exits the "bore". The device is a prototype weapon. (AOL-tactical high-power RF weapon).
