Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789ROO0200220004-2 SECRET/NOFORN - SKEET CHANNELS ONLY PROJECT SUN STREAK (U) WARNING NOTICE: INTELLIGENCE SOURCES AND METHODS INVOLVED Session Procedures Report (S/NF/SK) PROJECT NUMBER: 8718 SESSION NUMBER: 2 DATE OF SESSION: 3 NOV 87 TARGET COUNTRY: IRAN REFERENCE: MISSION STATUS: TECHNIQUE UTILIZED: CRV SOURCE IDENTIFIER: 011 1. (S/NF/SK) Monitor Tasking: Follow the missiles beyond the "flashing lights" to their ultimate destination [this task was not completed during this session]. Obtain an overhead sketch of the target area(s). 2. (S/NF/SK) Source Tasking: 011 was informed that the objects which were perceived in session #1 were on a ship; that "ship" was a perception which the monitor did not allow at the time. O11 was informed that the session would involve tracking the objects from the place where the ship stopped to other areas--a chain of custody, so to speak, with no discontinuities. 3. (S/NF/SK) Summary: (Refer to sketches) A ship, carrying missiles, arrives in a port. A long row of trucks is parked opposite the pier. The missiles are off-loaded onto a flatbed truck even though they could be loaded directly into rail cars--rails are built into the pier. The flatbed truck proceeds to a nearby rail facility and the missile crates/containers are then transferred to rail cars. The rail cars proceed north a great distance, perhaps hundreds of kilometers, through varied terrain (see page 3 sketch? nto a spur which takes them near two large structures, like hangers, located within the security boundary of an airfield. The missiles are stored in one of these structures for a short time and then transported again, this time by air. (The airfield is serviced at times by military transport aircraft).
