Si', 7?-/2 01. AO Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R0002000411)08-8 - SKEET CHANNELS ONLY PROjECT SUN STREAK (U) ERV SESSION PROCEDURES REPORT WARNING NOTICEg INTELLIGENCE SOURCES AND METHODS INVOLVED CONTROL NUMBER:: 8712 DATE OF SESSION:: Sep 87 REFERENCES: None DATE OF REPORT: 2 Sep 87 TECHNIQUE UTILIZED: ERV NICKNAME: None TARGET COUNTRY: Iran SESSION NUMBER: MISSION STATUS: Continuing SOURCE IDENTIFIER: 079 ) 1. (S/NF/SK) INTERVIEWER TASKING: Determine the possibility of Iranian attacks against US Naval vessels and/or vessels of US Naval interest. To accomplish this tasking the Source is to be directed to view three separate "windows" in the future. These windows are the week of 6 September, the week of September and the week of 20 September 1987. Each window is to be examined separately and in its entirety to determine Iranian intentions and actions during that reporting period. If an attack is perceived the Source is to be tasked to provide all relevant information pertaining to the attack. 2. ((/NF/SK) SOURCE TASKING: Prior to the session, Source was told that this would be a second viewing of the site worked on the previous day. Specifically, Source was told that it was believed that She had previously acquired the proper site but had not clearly reported on the actual tasking,. i.e., the. specific events of interest which may have occurred during future "time windows" that were provided during the session. In today's session, therefore, She would again be tasked against future time windows to determine specific events of. interest which may occur during those periods. In addition, Source was provided a set of encrypted coordinates, 279400/555141, as per Extended Remote Viewing (ERV) protocols, and told to initLally acquire the proper geographic location and to describe this area while awaiting the further tasking. 3. (S/NF/SK) INCLEMENCIES: There were no unusual incidents or anomalies which may affected the data provided by Source during this session. Source, who has an almost .obsession with succeeding, was not tense about this session in light of the fact that She was led to believe that the Interviewer was less that satisfied with the results of the previous session. It is not know if such "Oressure" Approve1aosislialoa5ec2000/08/08ET CHAARDP96-00789R000200040008-8 Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000200040008-8 MMPPMPOWNOFORN - SKEET CHANNELS ONLY assisted the Source in providing the information given in this report, however, She did seem to be able to discriminate with routine daily occurrences and the truly "important". events which occurred during the time windows provided to Her. 4. (S/NF/SK) SUMMARY Source furnished the attached summary which was prepared by Her and provided to the Interviewer within 24 hours after the session. The completeness of the typewritten summary has been compared to the Interviewer's notes and all changes, deletions and corrections have been verified as accurate and acceptable by the Interviewer. The information provided in the summary was found to be an accurate perception by the Source of the data produced during the session and therefore required to further modifications, changes or corrections by the Interviewer. As expected, the summary seemed to clarify some issues and concepts reported during the verbal portion of the session which, at the time, were confusing and ambiguous to the Interviewer. From Source's summary it would seem that She perceived an increasing state of readiness on the part Of Some land based forCes with apparent missile type weapons at their disposal. This readiness and any contingency plans they may have had were put to an. abrupt end by some other external force who may have destroyed these weapons and their site related structures by sabotage or even by remote artilleryor missile fire. The damage seemed to have been severe with little hope of repair in the near future. There did not appear to be any reference to damage incurred by any waterborne vessels during the entire time window 2-20 September 1987. The main destructive force may have occurred during the first time window - 2-6 September 87 with the main "clean-up" operations being conducted almost immediately with the assistance of supplies and equipment being flown to the site from points unknown. 5. (S/NF/SK) COMMENTS This was the second session on this project LII: ilizing this Source. Her information during this session seemed to confirm the possibility of some type of violent confrontation during the first half of the month of September 87. Perhaps the need to succeed was instrumental in Source reporting on specific incidents as opposed to the disjointed material provided in the previous session. In any case Her description of the general terrain to include the presence of a large body of water, swamps, mud, reeds, isolated military emplacements and a hot, arid climate would indicate a successful acquisition of the proper area. The validity of the data P0 rtaining to future events will have to be com'irmed by the future I tself. I COULD SEE MEN WORKING AND DRIVING AND MANEUVERING. I COULD SEE AN OBJECT THAT SEEM THICK AND NARROW-SITTING ON THE GROUND AND IT CAME OUT AND IT SEEMED CIRCULAR. AT THE END. IT SEEMED AS THOUGH THIS OBjECT HAD-4:-IRE POWER AND THERE WAS A MOVABLE PART TO THIS OBJECT THAT COULD BE ROTATED AND FIRED. 2 SEPT - 6 SEPT g I COULD SEE MEN MEETING AND I COULD SEE THAT A DECISION WAS MADE FAST. I COULD SEE THE OBJECT AND I SENSED THAT THE OBJECT HAD A PART THAT WAS THE "EYE" OR THE SEE THROUGH PART AND THAT DURING THIS TIME FRAME THERE WAS DAMAGE TO THIS PART OF THE OBjECT. THIS "EYE" OR SEE THROUGH PART WAS LOCATED IN THE UPPER PORTION OF THE OBJECT. THEN- I FELT THAT THERE WAS SMOKE COMING OUT OF THE OBjECT AND I THEN HAD THE FEELING OF SIZZLING. THE OBjECT WAS DAMAGED BECAUSE OF A HIT FROM A BIG BALL. I FELT THAT THE BALL WAS LOCATED VERY NEAR TO THE GROUND AND IT CAME UP AND OUT AND HIT THIS OBJECT. THE MEN WITH THE OBJECT WERE QUITE SURPRISED BECAUSE THEY WERE UNAWARE THAT THE BALL WAS HERE BECAUSE IT WAS HIDDEN. 6 SEPT - 13 SEPI g I COULD SEE MEN PICKING THINGS OFF THE GROUND AND THROWING AWAY BIG GARBAGE. THEY ARE UNDER ORDERS TO DO THIS AND THEY ARE ,NOT W-?SHOCK?-AN7MORE THEY ACCEPT WHAT HAS HAPPENED HERE AND THEY KNOW THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I ALSO FELT THAT THEY WERE RECEIVING SUPPLIES By AN AIRPLANE. I Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000200040008-8 Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789R000200040008-8 THEN SAW A NEW BRIGHT SHINY OBjECT THAT WAS SILVER AND I KEPT SENSING THAT THIS OBJECT WAS CLEANING OR WASHING OR HELPING THE MEN. I HAD THE FEELING THAT THE DAMAGE WAS BEING CLEANED UP. WHEN THE HIT OCCURRED, THE MEN WERE UNAWARE OF IT BECAUSE THEY WERE TAKEN IN AND DID NOT KNOW OF THE PLANS OR THE MAKING OF THE PLANS FOR THIS TO TAKE PLACE. LOOKING AT THE ENTIRE AREA, I FELT THAT I WAS NEAR THE WATER AND THAT THE BALL THAT HIT THE OBJECT WAS BROUGHT TO THIS AREA BY WATER AND WAS FIRED AND DID THE DAMAGE ON LAND 1. FELT THAT THE OBJECT WAS FACING NORTH AND THE BALL HIT THE OBJECT FROM THE EAST.
