REMOTE VIEWING (RV) SESSION CD-76
1. (S/NOFORN) This report documents a remote viewing session conducted in
compliance with a request from SOD, 33, OJCS, Pentagon, Washington, DC.
The purpose of the session was to provide information relevant to the
hostage situation in Iran.
2. (S/NOFORN) The remote viewer's impressions of the target are provided as
raw intelligence data, and, as such, have not been subjected to any intermediate
analysis, evaluation or collation. Interpretation and use of the information
provided is the responsibility of the requestor.
3. (S/NOFORN) The protocol used for this session is detailed in the document
Grill Flame Protocol, AMSAA Applied Remote Viewing Protocol (S), undated.
4. (S/NOFORN) Following is a transcript of the viewer's impressions during
the remote viewing session. At TAB A are drawings made by the remote viewer
reference his impressions of the target site. At TAB B is target cuing
information provided the remote viewer.
5. (S/NOFORN) The remote viewer was asked to find Kathryn Koob and describe
her location. The viewer described a multi-storey building with an open lobby
near the main entrance. From the lobby there was a large stairway to the
second floor. The viewer described a manicured garden and the shadow of a
tall smokestack or minaret outside of this building. When asked, the viewer
stated he felt this location was in the city of Teheran.

#14: This will be a remote viewing session for 2 July 1980;
mission time is 1400 hours.
PAUSE
All right #07 the time is now 1400 hours. Your mission for
today is to find Kathryn Koob. I want you to find her, to
identify her location, describe any other hostages at this
location, and tell me about the security.
PAUSE
+05 #07: I, I, I see her now. She's standing on a stairway in a rather
large building talking to someone. Another woman. There's a
very large, very large stairway like in a public building.
#14: Who is this other woman?
#07: I think she's a local woman. I had a second feeling that
Kathryn could move around certain parts of the building
without too much restriction. The feeling I have is that
those two women aren't exactly enemies.
I had a feeling Kathryn could converse on a local dialect with
this person. It's a very wide stairway. You can see over the
rail down in what looks like a ...a big lobby or something
like that. I saw- Oh! There's a big, a big long machetta
upon the...what was shaped like a tall smokestack with walkway
around the top. A shadow cast across on top of this building,
and on to the ground. Oh, I can see the top of the tall tower
like smokestack structure. On the ground over there, there are
shadows coming from behind me. There was a very clear figure two.
I don't know what it means.

any other US hostages being held at this location.

#07: One thing that keeps bothering. It's a really strong feeling.
Kathryn doesn't feel hostile. When you said the word hostage
it came back (mumbling) and very strong. I think Kathryn seems
sympathetic towards the woman that she was talking to. I just
had to get rid of that. It bothered me. I'm going....I'll
continue the search. I'm now upstairs. I think on the second
floor.
PAUSE
I get, I just ducked into the room here. I thought I was in
a hotel or something, but I just ducked into the room that
had several benches. Like an old-fashioned courtroom or old
church. Very confusing.
PAUSE
There's someone. I can't tell but it's further down the hall
or way up there. It's a big floor up down that end of the
building all the way (mumbling). I think there's two people
in that area who seem to be under.....some kind of security
+15 guard or something. One of them seems...there's a slim...
I think it's another woman with an older man. Looks western.
I saw him before somewhere.
PAUSE
#14: Ask yourself this question, "Is this building located in the
city of Teheran?"
#07: Aha...I think so. I think a smokestack is...smokestack
+20 is ...I saw is shaped like a minaret thing. There's more than
one of 'em.

Yes, I think it's Teheran. I'm worried, I'm worried about, about
her being sympathetic. I just think she's a very compassionate
person. Seems to understand the feeling of her captors and
doesn't, doesn't feel any great hostility hoping it won't be
misunderstood.
#14: Tell me about the physical security at this location.
#07: Well, the other_people-seem-to be behind locke_d_doors with
a threat th eThey were in trouble if they tried 7E6- leaN, but
I don't se any physical security in the form of guards nevby.
I sense the 's someone....aa_a_fow-peopie...less than, less
than 8 or 10 ori-EFF-751751716d floor...whose responsibility is to
guard and look after these people. I don't know why, but I
feel that..uh.., I feel that food is brought into the people

+25 #07: Uh..just that I am very concerned about...that someone might
misconstrue her..uh..relaxed attitude and compassions in the
presence of her captors...worried about that.
#14: We're now ready for debrief. We will go to the other side of
this tape.
PAUSE
#14: We're now ready for debrief. You started out describing
Koob on the very large stairway, and you could look down into
a lobby, and then you described the smokestack with stairs
around it.
#07: Oh, that later, I think, became a minaret.
#14: Aha..and a green geometric pattern like a garden or something.
Then you described the room with benches. Like an old fashioned
courtroom or an old church or something.
#07: Drawing's that bad, huh?
#14: Umm...well, no...so that they can marry up the transcript with
the drawing.
#07: Uh...this is a drawing of, what was her first name?
#14: Kathryn.
#07: Kathryn going up the stairs. She had books or something. She
stopped to talk to someone. Another woman coming down...half-
way down the stairs. I remember the stairwell was open fitting
into a big lobby like area down below. I felt the front of the
building is in the direction of this arrow, and I also felt
that this was the direction of the shadow that was laying across
the top of this building and casting a shadow at the top of the
tower or smokestack like shape on the ground in front of the
building.
Uh...let's see. Is there anything else? Uh...I did not see
the building, but I saw this shadow like this laying
across the ground...was sidewalks and what have you out here.
And, this thing was just laying across the sidewalks and what
have you across some grass.

#07: In the near part of the shadow here was...came in across
the top of the building. This could have been on top of the
building. It could have been behind the building. For some
reason I felt it was behind the building, and I later thought
well it's just some kind of minaret or something. Was there
anything else?
#14: How about that scene that reminds you of an old courtroom or
something. Was there anything unusual about that #07?
#07: No. I just thought I was in some kind of hotel. It started
when I was started to room search and the result of bumping
into this I forgot my room search. I don't think I completed
it. But, look through thi ?arid_ ere was long benches
of hard wood. Very wel crafted. And, rencId me of pews
in an old church...but felt courtroom type of thing, you know.
Affairs of state or somet Thare's_not ng to draw...just
wooden benches, wooden benches curved like a human body...like
in a very built in some old churches.
#14: Well, that's about it.
#07: Okay.
#14: Was there anything unique to that..uh..geogemetric designs that
you associated with the garden?
#07: Uh..no. They were almost petal shape or wheel shape with....
#14: Uh...why don't you draw that. That may be significant.
#07: There was some kind of overlapping...uh...these lines were..
looked like there were something between 6 inches and a foot
ligh of some kind of a small hedge like material.... .vegetation...
uh..these zigzag lines here. Thsi was all brush, and there
fljwas other color of flowers and stuff inside these big areas...
Uh...I don't know. I thought there was a fountain or something
in this. There was something different about this center. I
think it might have been a fountain or something, but this was
ery, very pretty. Very...looked like a lot of work went into
it.

building somewhere.

TARGET CUING INFORMATION
REMOTE VIEWING (RV) SESSION CD-76
1. (S/NOFORN) The remote viewer has been exposed to open source news
media information as well as classified overhead imagery and numerous photo-
graphs of hostage personnel. He knew he would be working against the hostage
situation in Iran.
2. (S/NOFORN) At the time of this session the remote viewer was shown the
attached photograph, and was asked to find Kathryn Koob. He was asked to
identify Koob's location, identify any other US hostage personnel, and to
describe physical security at this location.
