SUBJECT: FONECON, LTC WATT and
(DIA), 1520 hours, 30 March 1981 SG1J
1. (U) DIA-DT, called me at 1520 hrs, 30 Mar 81 to relay
a question ram DIA GRILL FLAME representative at SRI-I.

2. (S/NOFORN) Basically Iwanted to know if INSCOM was going to SG1J
send personnel to SRI-I during FY82 to participate in training under the new
program that was being developed out there. I told him that I would rather
discuss the issue in detail in a joint Grill Flame meeting environment, but
that for planning purposes the following statement could be used:
"If the training program being developed at SRI-I is completed
in time (FY82), and the joint Grill Flame Committee agrees that
the p ogram is worthwhile, then INSCOM does intend to send
personnel there for training."
3. (U) I cautioned about doing business this way because
misunderstandings have eve oped in the past. I told him that the subject
needed to be discussed, in detail, at the next Grill Flame Committee meeting.
