SUBJECT: CENTER LANE Briefing to Congressional Intelligence
Committee Staff Members (U)
I. (S/NF/WNINTEL) On 20 February 1985 from 1500-1600 hours DIA
will present a briefing to Staff members of the Senate Select
Committee on Intelligence (SSCT) arld the House Permanent Select
Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) on the DIA psychoenergetic
intelligence program. On 11 February 1985 Dr. Vorona,
Assistant Deputy Director for Scientific and Technical.
Intelligence , DIA requested CENTER LANE (CL) participation in
the briefing to present an overview of completed intelligence
collection projects. It is anticipated that the CL portion of
the briefing will be a review of 10 to 12 projects and how they
assisted the intelligence community.

3. (S/NF/WNINTEL) The 20 February briefing is one more in what
likely will be a series of briefings to gain support for the new
psychoenergetic program. The CL Program Manager will continue
to notify the ADCSOPS-HUMINT of these "high visibility"
briefings throughout the attachment period, unless otherwise
directed.
