(S/NOFORN) This report provides documentation of a remote viewing session conducted for training purposes only. 2. (S/NOFORN) Post analysis on target viewing indicates the viewer had quite a bit of correlation to the target. The viewers gestaltic impress- ions were very basic in content; i.e., circle, pyramid, square, etc., but were exceptionally accurate in their construction (one relating to the other) in description of the actual target; an outside theater. The viewers immediate comments following the session and being briefed on his actual target were that he was disappointed in himself for seeing the tar- get but not being able to put it into words, as well as having clearly described what he did about the target putting the target in an upsidedown perspective. 3. (S/NOFORN) The protocol used for this session is detailed in the document, Standard Remote Viewing Protocol (Remote Target) by Harold E. Putthoff and Russel Targ, November 1978. 4. (S/NOFORN) Following is a transcript of the viewer impressions during the remote viewing session. At TAB A is the narrative and drawings per- tinent to the target. At TAB B is the actual map sheet from which the target was drawn, as well as the cuing data utilized to initiate the session. Okay #25 it is now 0930 hours, I am going to read to you coordinates of your target for this morning: 44 degrees, 00 minutes, 30 seconds North 097 degrees, 08 minutes, 00 seconds West 44 degrees, 00 minutes, 30 seconds North 097 degrees, 08 minutes, 00 seconds West I want you to relax, relax, relax and go to the target indicated by those coordinates and describe that target to me. I got a quick impression of sheep. Sheep like animals, sheep. That green color again. I'm. not getting any kind of raw picture. Just pieces of things like stuck out in space..a shovel, spade ..shape shovel. #01: Don't try to tell me what these objects. Describe your perceptions of what these objects are. #25: Okay. That's all imagery so far. I'm. going to take a few minutes to get down. I'm.not getting down very well. #01: Take your time. #25: Got another aerial shot from huge (phonetic) perspective... northwest like Washington State ..... or Oregon. Getting circles. It's like one circle, light color, sits on a green background like...... It's just a slab sitting there...square with a circle inside. #01: Just relax, I'm. going to read the coordinate one more time: 44 degrees, 00 minutes, 30 seconds North 097 degrees, 08 minutes, 00 seconds West Approved For Release 2003/09/09 : CI9q'0Z,88R001400070001-0 Approved For Release 2003/09/09 7888001400070001-0 17 #01: Go to that location and describe only your perceptions to me. #25: Okay.--I feel like Pain a valley. It's.like a box...canyon like ...three sides and a back open wide, flat, on my baek...elevation is about 100 feet or so, and my feet are towards the bottom of the box, and my other part of the box is on the other side. #01: Sit up #25 and describe what is to your immediate right. #25: Steep-slope. Trees growing up the side...... many vegetation. It's. not growing ...... I can't tell if it's. growing or not. It's like it's heavy, but it's.just..... I'm losing it. #01: Relax and move around the area and describe for me your perceptions of those items that are most important to me at the target. #25: I'm. getting a circle and a square, and a pyramid shape at the same time. #01: What is your present perspective at the target? #25: I'm, sitting right on top of the pyramid. There's. a road on the left hand side-going back... mountain road, not finished very well. #01: Move from the top of the pyramid to the slope which you described earlier and look back towards the pyramid and describe what you see. #25: It's just like-an Egyptian pyramid with the lines in there and-everything ...the lines of the blocks or something... and I feel like it's..made.out.of. concrete, and I slid down on., top keeps disappearing. I could stay here for one second, and it's. gone for the next second. It's. faster than a second. #01: Describe the surface on which you are standing. @25: Vines around my feet ...tangle of vines on... the top of a ridge, trees around me. Some of them have some of them are. evergreen and some are just regular trees with no leaves. Vines are not dead.completely, but they're almost dead. Like they're........... Not all the way to............ #01: Look to your east and describe what you see. #25: Same impression. Things go down. Only-water is closer on the west than it is on the east. #01: Now, look to your north and describe what you see. #25: Nothing on the north, but on the south side-of the pyramid is a circle. I got all confused what direction was what. #01: Describe the predominant odor for this area. #25: Out, outdoors, woodsy area odor. #01: Describe the most abundant sound for this area. #25: Rain. #01: Search out the...... #25: There's. a chemical smell with the pyramid. It's like something has to escape... some. gas... has to escape the pyramid...I see some steam. It doesn't smell bad. It's not a bad smell. I'm.not even sure you can smell it. #01: Move inside the pyramid and describe what you perceive. #25: Heating pipes...covered with insulation.....tunnels ...It's. also like it's. transparent. Because on the inside you can see outside ...360 degrees vision. #01: Describe the interior walls. #25: Squares. I can't. make up my mind if they're .....I'm, not going to try and make up mind. They're just square. Tile or glass. I can't tell the, difference. Maybe tile and glass...soft tile... foam type tile. #01: Are you alone? I will allow you an opportunity to tell me anything else that you desire to describe about the target. #25: I keep wanting to try and get the function, I keep trying to look at the fence, but I-think it's. just a factory of some sort. That's. it. #01: Okay. Come back to this room with your perception to this state in time 3 February 1982, 0951. Stretch your arms and legs. Um . going to put the tape on hold. We'v.e finished the drawings.. Now, would. you like to please describe your drawings to me? #25: Yes. Drawing 1 is an overhead perspective.of the box, canyon area. with the pyramid, circle and square in the middle. Now, I realize after drawing it, I think the square and the pyramid are one thing in the circle. I can't tell if the circle was on the side of one of the pyramid sides or inside the pyramid as I've drawn the dash lines here. #01: why don't. you indicate.on the drawing that... what you. just said.....all one thing. #25: Okay. By stating that the square, pyramid and circle are all one thing, I mean that the square is probably part of the pyramid, part of the shape of the pyramid, one part of it, and the circle.... I believe is part of this too. I'm.not sure if it's. like ...the square might be the base of the-pyramid, but I don't know how the circle is to the...involved ......like I said, I though....I didn't. know if it was on the slope of the pyramid wall. on the outside, or on the inside on the floor.of the pyramid. Which was a circle, was a square, was a pyramid in that order as time went by in the session. The little astrisk with "me" beside it indicates my perspective when you told me to go to the ridge line and view from there. The west and north arrows are indicated. I saw this some time in this perspective overhead. As a matter of fact that's. where I will put a little "A" ...when you asked me for my location..-..I'.l.l draw an arrow to the top of the pyramid...I..was sitting right at the pinicle of the pyramid. I moved from the pyramid to location "B'.' circled-here and....I don't. know what the. shape is...at all...what the building is, if it's. a building.......even if it's. just a shape on the ground. I kind-of feel like it's. a_building, but I can't say that for sure. The lines over here that I will now label was a country road going up and over the ridge line and away somewhere, west. This area here that's, open on the drawing where. I've written.the words was. an open part of the box, canyon .................. Does that do it for drawing 1? Approved For Release 2003/09/09 " _ J)0788R001400070001-0 Approved For Release 2003/09/09 : CIA-RDP96-00788 R001400070001-0 #01: Okay. Let's. go to drawing 2. #25: Drawing 2 is more of a perspective of the area which...... #01: I have a question. I'm. assuming that this figure on this upper edge is you. #25: Stick in "me." #01: Why-did you draw the perspective from the opposite and viewing yourself? #25: I have no idea. I tried to kind of swirl around this thing as fast as I could to get as much as I could quickly. So, maybe I actually saw it from this perspective at once or part of the time. But, when you asked me to go to the other ridge, that's, where I went. That's where the vines were and they're written in there. The little triangle shapes with sticks are supposed to be trees. The lines on the page going down and to the center indicate the ridge and the steepness of the slope. It was very steep. Not easily walked or climbed up. Especially with all the dense vegetation which I will write where I saw or I sensed that it was dense. I couldn't. tell if it was alive or dead or what. But, it was certainly thick. #01: How high was the vegetation? #25: All the way up to the ridge. #01: No. I mean if you were standing in it. #25: Oh! It would be about from waist high down to knee level. I don't think it would go any lower than knee level. You'.d. be up to your knees in it all the time. The road on the left indicates where it went out. I don't. believe that after it got up on th.e ridge that I was able to see it that well or know it that well or it wasn't important to me. I drew it going off to the left, but it could very well go off this way to the right which I will indicate with dash. lines. The figure in the center. is the pyramid, square, and again the circle shape... Because this is an eastern view and....the circle that I saw, if it were.on the. outside, would have been on this wall...the southern wall, I think. #01: Okay. Let's. go to page 3. #25: Okay. Page 3 are the wall squares, the insides of the wall. I thought some of them were soft tiles and and I couldn't. tell if they were soft tiles or glass, soft tiles came first, and then all of a sudden I was able to see from the inside of the pyramid 360 degrees around me. Like it was a glass house or green house of some sort. #01: Can you estimate what the size of those squares were? #25: Well, they seemed.to.be...... one foot ....... no I'm. guessing here ...... one-foot ....... by...... two feet in this direction. They were longer than they were wide. #01: Okay. That's all you need to say, that they were longer than they were wide. #25: That's it for that drawing. Drawing 4 is sort of a cutaway of the pyramid at a closer perspective and I have this very clearly in my mind, but I simply can't. draw it. It's. too complicated to draw. There was a walkway in here. I saw a man.,.:...I'l.1 just write man and label this stick figure here "man." In there he had a white helmet on and a white suit. This is a pipe, an overhead pipe, and this sort of indicates the walkway and I tried to indicate more pipes going overhead, because-there was.more than one. There were pipes going everywhere..... Somewhere back in here, which I will cut out again.... and I believe this would.be about the center of the thing that was a circle...That's.what I thought was the vat. It had liquid in it, bubbled, like it was boiling. Approved For Release 2003/09/0.' Approved For Release 2003/09/09 : CIA-RDP96-00788 R001400070001-0 #25: Drawing 5 is my perspective. The X indicates me. The compass, I11.1 draw in the middle of the page. #01: And, that's from...give a estimate of how high you were. #25: I have a tough time with that, but I was higher than most airplanes fly. Enough to see what I thought was all of Washington State and beyond it and Oregon and part of California. That's, about the perspective, and that's. what I_thought I would see. So, I don't-know if it's. overlay or...... at least I saw that much I would say.... 60 to 70,000 feet is that in miles? I could see #01: Okay. Okay. I don't have anything else to ask you. #25: Okay. In summary I suppose the target was on continental land in a mountainous area in the forest and the target itself was an outside type target. That's the end of the session. land area. So, maybe. How far real far.
