MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD
SUBJECT: Trip Report 27-28 Sep 83(U)
1. (S/CL-4/NOFORN) On 27 and 28 Sep 83, the undersigned was
TDY to New York City, New York for the purpose of liaison with
SRI-International subcontractor, Ingo Swann.
2. (S/CL-3/NOFORN) During this visit we inspected SRI-I
facilities in NY and found them to be less than desirable. We
also inspected the ASPR facility, but this wasn't suitable due
to possible security problems.
3. (S/CL-3/NOFORN) During my visit Hal Puthoff called and I
spoke with him. I told him the best situation would be for his
people, who understand the requirements of our contracts, to fly
to NY with check-book in hand to rent suitable space; he agreed
to this.
4. (U) During this trip I traveled to/from NY by AMTRAK. I
consider this to be a convenient and desirable mode of travel if
it becomes necessary to travel to NY in the future.
