MEMORANDUM FOR ADCSOPS-HUMINT
SUBJECT: FONECON - Dr. Vorona
9 April 1982
1. At 0745 hours, 9 April 1982, Dr. Vorona, DIA called and discussed the
following. He was satisfied with the responses and had no immediate tasking.
a. Briefing for Staffers - Dr. Vorona asked when the briefings were
scheduled; TTn'aor him that LTC Jordan, OACSI, was scheduling the briefings
it Dr. Vorona said that it should be a combined briefing i.e. all the
staffers should be gathered and briefed at one time. Dr. Vorona will call
LTC Jordan.
b. Reclama to Congress - Dr. Vorona asked if we had any "grabbers" that
could be used n t e recta. I told him that a copy of the briefing book
we used to brief BG Strom was being delivered to COL Kennedy, OACSI, today.
He said that was fine and he would get access to the book. there. Dr. Vorona
stated he would respect any confidences between INSCOM and other agencies,
2. Dr. Vorona further indicated that FY 82 reprogramming to provide INSCOM
training was being held in abeyance pending a completion of the current FY83
Congressional actions.
3. I invited Dr. Vorona to Fort Meade, at his convenience, for an update
briefing on INSCOM's program. Dr. Vorona appreciated the invitation and said
he would come when the current actions were completed.
