Attached msg from INSCOM indicates they are
voluntarily following the OSG guidance re the
MICOM protocol reviewed last December. This
is a particularly good move before a review
of INSCOM's work takes place again. I feel
(though INSCOM would probably take exception)
that over the past six months, INSCOM has
moved outside their original OSG-approved
protocol. This is not to say that INSCOM has
made wrong decisions -- quite the contrary.
They are doing some excellent, essentially
no-risk basic research (e.g., varying some of
the environmental aspects of the session
room, wiring the interviewer so that an outside.
analyst can hear what is going on, etc).
DO NOT use this form as a RECORD of approvals. concurrences, disposals,
clearances, and similar actions
