Relax and concentrate now. Relax. Relax. Relax. Concentrate your attention on Building India. Focus your attention on Building India. Explore Building India. And describe your findings to me. #8a Okay. PAUSE +01 There . . . There are cots in the hallway. PAUSE +02 It has about . , . . . . PAUSE There are . . . There are three guards. There are . . No, there are three guards in the right corridor. They are kind of roaming. There Should be three in the other two corridors, but there's only two. The others are on cots. Cots and chairs. And they work in shifts. +03 They're only about. . five cots. . . in the front hallway. +04 They got . . I only see three people downstairs. One is supposed to be awake; he's asleep. And two guys . . on two cots on each side of the entrance. X06 They were less vigilant before this. They're more vigilant now, upstairs, Its like a tightening of procedures. Somewhat half-hearted, but still more stringent. PAUSE #8s One of the ladies is awake, sitting down. There's another room. +11 In the center. . .-where, . . , There are four guys . in a conversation. One. . One is lying in bed - the other guys are sitting around (not audible). Topic of discussion there is the . . . the visit of that couple to see their sons I think he's in there. #66: I'm having trouble understanding you. #8: I . . know those four guys as . . I think one of them is the son of those parents that recently visited - that kid in Iran. They're discussing the results of that visit. And the other three are wishing and antic- ipating they could also . . . get the visit of their parents. PAUSE #66: Search the area so you may determine the nature or class of hostages and how many.. +13 #8: 42-43. . . . #66: Tell me some of the raw data that makes you say that. #6: I went to every room and counted them. PAUSE #66: Is there any segregation information that's important? #0: No, they were all . . . the ones on the outer wings . . wing. . . are tripled and doubled per room. Mainly triple. The ones in the inner. . wing are double mainly. Some are single - they should be double, but . . . . . There are more people to a room on the outer wings. And less people per room in the center wing. This is in absence of people in center wing. #66: Okay,, Approved For Release 2000/08/07. PAUSE +16 #8: You've got the interior activity . There is an exterior activity. #66: Report it. #8: There's four or five roving guards but they don't come from the inside. I . . . They're separate. PAUSE Unfortunately, they're alert. #66: What makes you say they're alert? #8: 'Cause they're walking. PAUSE +21 #66: Position yourself directly in front of Building E, . facing the main entrance and describe the scene to me. I never did know which was the main entrance to that place. But I'll go on the street side. #66: I'm interested in an area in which you can see inside the building'from outside. #8: From outside. ##66: Is there such an area? PAUSE #8: Okay. #66: Describe what you see. 1#': Flat wall with big windows. I don't see any people outside. The weird thing about this is that . . . the moving guards are, for the most part, . . in what you would probably consider behind in the kind of gravel path there. (Not audible - mumbling) over there, Approved For Release 2000/08107-.; I 00788R001000520001-4 Approved For Release 2000/08/07, ,. . , 8R001000520001-4 #8: But . . I don't see any . . . . anybody to what would be the front of the building. #66: All right. Move back inside to the guards inside the building. ##8: Which floor? #66: Starting with the bottom floor. #8: All rig6it. #66: Describe their activity at present. #B: Same as before.. +23 #66: Move now to the upstairs area. Describe your position .of observation to me. #8: Right in front of corridor looking down the right corridor. #66: In the (not audible)? ##'8: Huh? There's even a . . . resting activity there. There's two where there were three. PAUSE Walking. Something. About . ##66: All right. #8: seven. . walking. PAUSE #66: How many walking guards? #8: About seven. . . . . Between 7 and 8, mainly 8 at a time. They've got an arbitrary system of changing. ##66: And tell me about your position. of observation one more time. #8: Right in the'front corridor, right in a corner, right above a bunk. Or the cot of one of the guards. #66: All right. Now, listen very carefully. #8: Go ahead. #66: Hold your position. ##8: Yeah. PAUSE +27 #8: It's one of complete mayhem. #66: Tell me what makes you say that. #8: T don't know. PAUSE #66: Report the raw imagery to me. ## e.ple scurrying. Guards scurrying from their cots. PAUSE / PAUSE +31 #8: Just a quick impression of a very forhoding qui .k;:.action.. #e6: Describe your position of observation once again. ##8: Same. +32 ##66: All right. Move in time again one more hour in the future. Three o'clock in the morning. Three o'clock in the morning. PAUSE +38 #8: I can't got rid of this imagery of #66: Tell me about the imagery. #8: Just a very, very quick overpowering (mumbling)is about... this is just chained one after the other, and it's about seven casualties. They're in the left wing. Most of them...... #66: I'm sorry. I can't understand you. Approved For Release 2000/08/07: CIA-RDP96-00788R001000520001-4 Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : C14,R[ P9 007888001000520001-4 #8: About 7 casualties there on the left wing; most of them ...is not that serious. At that time ...just specifying they're grouping up....to go someplace. I don't know. They ...... uh...... I'm going to give you a last impression, then I quit. #8: I see a tunnel, these going out a tunnel or something d Looks like a coller.....I caller leads to the street. don't know. #66: something leads to the street? #8: Yeah. #66: Celler leads to the street, did you say? #8: Celler. Yes. #66: Ok. Return now, through time, to the present. Return now through space to the room here with me. Move your arms, move your legs, and prepare to draw those perceptions you've had. #8: Oh, yeah. You wanted the disposition of the guards? #66: Ok. Yeah. You started out with..uh..there' cuts in the hallway. #8: Yeah, yeah. I'm not going to follow you a picture.. I'm just going to follow my imagery, ok. #66: Yes. #8: Again, it's the big E. I'm doing. this....maybe I'll get it right one of these days. Ok. I know that's something behind here, but I didn't get the impression I was in this square area here, to the left here. I forget where the hell that was. But the way it worked out for me, I was mainly in this area here, and you kept me there; not kept me there, but, kept asking me where I was. This is where I was. And, what you had here was 3 roving guards in this area. And, at first, I saw 2 in here; and then 2 here, and then 3. Somebody must have come on duty. I don't know. In here-in these areas.... again, (mumbling) you had..uh..3 and 2, and more often than not, 3...at least 3 in a roam.....whereas...and same thing Approved For Release 2000/08/07 CiA;RDP96-0078.8:001000520001-4 Approved For Release 2000/08/07 496-00$8001000520001-4 in this area. Funny thing about this area....kept seeing the rooms on this side, but my directions are always messed up.....?and here, and here were just singles and doubles. Then I. just ...swish ...made a quick head count and arrived at estimated figure of 43. Ok. The cots, or whatever they're using, this guy definitely had a cot here, were along the wall someplace. And, I saw about 5 of those. #66: These cots are for the guards? #8: Yeah. Yeah. What these guys the roving guards would do would...come back to the cot, and somebody else wot.sld get up and somebody else would get up, and I have a feeling it was loosely organized in the sense that these went to these beds here, and these guys went to these beds here .... not the entire force changing all at one time. Then, on the bottom floor of this........ #66: You can go to sketch 2 if you . want........ #8: Yeah. There won't be. too much on it. But, wherever the front door was. #66: Let's go back here for a second.....write second floor on here. #8: Yeah. Sure. this is street floor, first floor........ ok, this seemed like a pretty wide entrance here, and what I saw here, was a cot here, a cot there, and someone awake at a table or a desk. Supposed to be. I don't think he was very much awake. Ok. I think I better put this on this sketch here, too. This, this was gravely area here. That...I think it included the sides....and this is where you're roving patrol......of 4 or 5 people ..... something like that.....with the Xs....someplace.....wherever the other one was....I don't know. They ..just roving around. Ok. And, when you said go to the front, I got the impression of a street here, and I could see nothing here to indicate any kind of disposition, except for what-the--hell was in here. But, again, I could have these th:i.ng reversed. I don't know. Anything else in there. #66: You felt... the opinion that the guards on the outside of the building were different in someway from the guards inside. #8: Well., there was much.-they was much wide awake because they were kind of forced to walk their posts as opposed to being very sedately. #66: Were they armed?
