Grill Flame material was used to maintain a degree of
continuity on hostage locations during the first five
months of the crisis (i.e. when the hostages were
detained largely within the Embassy Compound).
Comparative analysis of hostage groupings cited in
letters and physical relocation noted through other
sources appeared to be correlated by Grill Flame
reports. Grill Flame continues to be used in an
attempt to locate the hostages, however, little or
no reliable data is available from other sources as
yet, therefore no evaluation can be made of its value.
