REMOTE VIEWING (RV) SESSION XIV
1. (S) This report provides documentation of a remote
viewing session conducted for the purpose of orienting
a remote viewer to the protocol which will be used in
the remote viewing training program at Stanford Research
Institute (SRI), Menlo Park, California.
2. (S) The remote viewer was frustrated during this
session. The ambient room noise was exceedingly bad dur-
ing this session. This noise factor seemed to distract
the remote viewer significantly. He was unable to
concentrate on the task at hand and after trying for
fifteen minutes, called off the session.
3. (S) The protocol used for this session and which will
be used in later training is detailed in the document,
Standard Remote-Viewing Protocol (Local Targets) by Harold
E. Puthoff and Russell Targ, November 1978.
4. (S) Following is a transcript of the viewer's
impressions during the remote viewing session. At TAB A
are drawings made by the viewer reference his impressions
of the target site. At TAB B are photographs of the target
site. At TAB C is a post-session interview.

are approaching the target area. They are
observing the area. . . . Look at the target

1. (S) Post-session interviews are conducted after the
completion of a session (usually the following day) to
provide the selected remote viewer with the opportunity
to express himself concerning his viewing experience.
2. (S) #10.5 was very depressed after calling off the
session. He had been looking forward to being very
successful and having a rewarding experience. #10.5
had one target image which showed possible target cor-
relation but this was of little comfort to him. Project
personnel are not discouraged by this session as it
served as a valuable learning tool for #10.5. #10.5
remains enthusiastic about remote viewing and is eager
to conduct another session. He also harbors an acute
need to have a rewarding remote viewing experience. #10.5
is therefore, seeking a high degree of target correlation.
3. (S) The relationship between #10.5 and #7.5 remains
stable. #7.5 was very empathetic towards the feelings
of #10.5. #7.5 and #10.5 have a mutually supportive
relationship which will serve to overcome present problems.
