SUMMARY ANALYSIS
REMOTE VIEWING (RV) SESSION LXX
1. (S) This report provides documentation of a remote viewing
session conducted for training purposes to enhance a remote viewer's
demonstrated ability.
2. (S) The remote viewer's impressions during this session
appear to have little correlation to the selected target. The
viewer was very relaxed. He stated that he did not see actual
images, but described them as line thought forms being translated
into images and feelings. This was the first time this interviewer
has interviewed this remote viewer. They seemed to work well
together.
3. (S) The protocol used for this session and which will be
used in later training is detailed in the document, Standard-
Remote-Viewing Protocol (Local Targets) by Harold E. Puthoff
and Russell Targ, November 1978.
4. (S) Following is a transcript of the viewer's impressions
during the remote viewing session. At TAB A are drawings
made by the viewer reference his impressions of the target site.
At TAB B are photographs of the target site.

TRANSCRIPT
REMOTE VIEWING (RV) SESSION LXX
#28: This will be a remote viewing session (edited
for security.)
PAUSE
#44: Okay, the time is 1545, #28 and #33 are at
the target. I'd like to have you go to the
target, look at the target with them, and tell
me what you see.
PAUSE
Look at the target from where #28 is looking
at the target and tell me what you think he is
seeing.
PAUSE
#11: Now, that doesn't make sense at all. I have
+02 the feeling that somebody or. . is scattering
some sand or gain or something around. Like
somebody would be feeding chickens.
PAUSE
It wasn't #28 or #33. It seemed like it was
somebody else. It was something that was,
well, I don't know (not audible).
PAUSE
#44: What can you tell me about the area (not audible)?
PAUSE
+04#11: Well, I saw an unusual shape.
PAUSE
It seemed like a curved pipe or something with
a flange that was attached to something.
PAUSE

#11: Well, I'm sure not getting an abundance of
images (not audible).
PAUSE
#44: That's okay. (Not audible).
PAUSE
Can you look at the object that the pipe is
attached to and describe it?
PAUSE
+05 #11: Its odd. Its attached to something. Something
solid. I can't see into it or around it. It
seems to be obstructed. Its just there. (Not
audible).
I have a definite feeling that they're outdoors
+06 and looking at this pipe thing. They seem to
be looking up at it. At that shape that I
described. It seems to be higher than their
eye level. Almost looking at it at a 30 degree
angle where the flange meets whatever its
attached to.
PAUSE
+07 I still get this sensation of something being
thrown around. A grain substance, like sand
or chicken feed or whatever. It seems to be
being spread around. The person or action of
spreading this sand or grain around appears to
be on my right at an angle.
+08 The shape of the pipe and the flange where it
meets is almost straight ahead but a little bit
to the left as I look at it. And as I said,
further left.
PAUSE
#44: Can you drift over, stand with your back to
that shape, and look back towards #28 and beyond
that and tell me what you see?

#11: I'm not really seeing anything. I had. . .
I had the feeling of a car moving from right
to the left behind them on a road that's off
in a distance - 120 yards away. I had a
+09 feeling of trees, leaves, grass (not audible).
PAUSE
It seems like a quiet place. Its . . Its not
restricted to the public or anything but . . .
in . . . (not audible). . of having people
around but I don:t get the feeling or impression
or the image of a lot of them. There should be
a lot of people around. It would not be unusual
at certain times to find people (not audible).
PAUSE
#44: Can you lift up in the air and look down on the
scene and describe it to me.
#11: Well, right now, I'm still standing - I have
facing #28 and #33. Off to my left I have a
feeling that there's some water, a pond or lake
. . I have this. . I have created this image of '
+10 Burba Lake. So what I need to do now is just go
back to the basic again and look for #28 and #33
and start over again.
PAUSE
+11 I think I'll try and stand behind them this
time.
PAUSE
#44: What do you see #28 and #33 doing?
PAUSE
#11: I'm no where near around #28 at Burba. Or not.
+13 I just had the image of Colonel Sander's, you
know, that guy, Colonel Sander's Kentucky Fried
Chicken. I just saw his face.
PAUSE
#44: Can you tell me how you see it?
#11: Well you see, it was comical, it seemed to be
up on a pole, wrapped around this bucket of
Kentucky Fried Chicken. There was the face of
Colonel Sanders.

#11: Let me erase that and go back and find. .
find the two outbounders.
PAUSE
#44: Okay, the time is now four o'clock. The
beacons will be leaving the target. But as
you know, its perfectly all right to stay there
at the target and get some more descriptions of
the target.
PAUSE
#11: Oh, I don't think there's much sense in persuing
it further.
PAUSE
#44: Can you tell me anything more about the grain
scattering?
PAUSE
#11: Yeah. It appeared from where I was (not audible).
Somebody (not audible).
That looks like the (not audible). Spreading
grain back and forth. The back was more towards
me. And that was a recurring sensation that I
had.
#44: That you had in the beginning, was a real person?
#11: At first I did. At first I did. It seemed like
somebody was tossing dirt or scattering grain.
You know, how you do it in a pattern. Or even
putting rock salt on an icy sidewalk. At other
times I would just see this . . stuff scattering
out from a source as I was looking at it. Maybe
it was even a water sprinkler. You know.
#44: Well, let's not analyze it.
#11: Whatever it was, something was spraying out.
I'll label that 2, and that was a recurring
thing that kept coming up with.
PAUSE
And at 3, I had this, for the lack of anything
better to explain it, was a tube or flange that
4

came up bent at the end at approximately 90
degree angle, went off into a flange to attach
to something.
PAUSE
And I'm going to say that's solid. I had . .
#44: Did you . . pencil, give me an idea of maybe
how big things are?
#11: Ahhh Not really.
PAUSE
#44: Okay. You described it when you first saw it
as it appeared as if they were looking up at
it.
#11: Right. Let me try to put. . . I'll put a
couple of stick people here. And I'll do kind
of an overhead projection.
#44: Are you going to put them up there somewhere?
#11: Ha ha. All right. There you go. And over
here. . kind of straight ahead, but a little bit
to the left was this tube thing. With a flange
on it. Over here to the right was (not audible)
was where this action or scattering was going on.
Behind, and I stood, I stood about here where the
"X" is and looked behind them. Off in the distance
. . . I had a feeling that back here were trees
and I. . swore I saw an automobile just for a
quick second moving from right to left. And as I
was in this position, I also had a feeling over
here or water. Whether it was a lake or a pond,
whatever it was. And I really didn't get a whole
lot else. Very meager for images this time.
#44: Well, let's see. . you also said that you saw
the pole with the image of Colonel Sander's
face on it.
#11: Yeah. Now, that was really, I thought it was
cute and funny. But I had this pole and one
would be standing here and looking up at it.
And up here there seemed to be a checken box,
bucket. And I can't stand Uncle What's-His-Name's
chicken. But, it was an old country gent with
long hair and I guess I ought to draw it.

With a moustach?.and one of those crazy goatees
on there, you know.
PAUSE
#44: That's about all that you described to me.
#11: Fine. Yeah. I'm not really sure how I feel
about this session. It was . . I went rather
deep, you know, as far as relaxation goes. The
images weren't images like I'm used to seeing.
They were. . they seemed to be line thought forms
that were translated into images and feelings.
PAUSE
#44: Okay. Did that pipe (not audible) seem to go
all the way to the ground?
#11: I'm not sure. Because I was down looking up and
I wasn't. . I couldn't see where it went.
#44: Okay. Did you have the feeling that it was
a pipe that would contain something?
#11: No. To me . . . it was just as a feeling that
I felt it was hollow. It was some type of
support. Some type. . that's the feeling I had
very strong. A support type or a connection or
held something up or whatever. It seemed to be a
hollow tube. . but it ended in a flange type.
#44: Good. Is there anything else that you'd like
to say?
#11: No. Not really. Except that none of it makes
sense to me right now.
#44: Well, we will go have a look. And it will, of
course, make sense.
