SUMMARY ANALYSIS
REMOTE VIEWING (RV) SESSION CC 85
1. (S) This report documents a Remote Viewing (RV) session
conducted in compliance with a request from SOD, J3, OJCS,
Pentagon, ,',ashington, D.C. The purpose of the session was
to provide information relevant to the hostage situation in
the U.S. Embassy compound in Teheran, Iran.
2. (S) The remote viewer's impressions of the target are
provided as raw intelligence data and as such have not been
subjected to any intermediate analysis, evaluation or collation.
Interpretation and use of the information provided is the
responsibility of the requestor.
3. (S) The protocol used for this session is detailed in the
document, Grill Flame Protocol, AMSAA Applied Remote Viewing
Protocol (S), undated.
4. (S) Following is a transcript of the viewer's impressions
during the remote viewing session. At TAB A are drawings made
by the remote viewer reference his impressions of the target
site.

1. (S) The viewer has been exposed to open s ce news media information
as well as classified overhead imagery. He ew he would be working
against the hostage situation in Iran.
2. (5) At the time of the sessio , the viewer was asked to describe
an area referred to as Area "J." He was shown overhead imagery of the
US Embassy compound in Teheran, Iran. The area designated as Area "J"
was pointed out to the viewer by the interviewer. The imagery is not
included herein due to its classification.
3. (S) The viewer has worked against this target in the past. The
viewer has not been told anything about the area he was trying to describe
except for its letter designation.

#08 I see..uh..get impression of..uh..big..uh..wooden
posts. Square like.. .from the floor to the ...to the
top of the building. See 4 of these posts. Got the
impression of emptiness and space. Like (mumbling)
and..uh..kind of workshop or garage or something.
The time is now (edited for security) and you have
had the chance to look over and study an aerial
relax. Relax and concentrate. Focus your

Concentration on an area designated as "J." There
a building or buildings in that QLAWNhat we

(Mumbling) one floor but the ceiling is somewhat
high. Very high. Like twice.. .about twice the
height of a normal ceiling. Something like 18-20
feet.
There's a little,.. ..there's a little alypining
building, and?-"that's got..uh..like..uh..cagevor

know. t the impression of vehicles in the first
building. They're not...they're not American. See
uh.ho to three people in coveralls. I get the
+08 impression of mechanics. (Mtfnhbling)...they are
Hum-the impression keeps coming back of tools on
a wall or something.

There's..uh..n trial sizei..windows (mumb~i.g).
Normal uro n house rick houses. There seems

room in front.
The room is in front and the wall to that spacious
thing is..uh..common wall to those rooms.
I'm getting the impression like gray.. .Navy gray
+16 is predominant color.
PAUSE
Some yellow black lines to mark out...it's like
parking spaces or something
Now those, those 4 big poles I told you about
they're not there anymore.. .cement.. .gray cement
floor.. .like the building had been converted from
a very old type building to a somewhat modern
clean, clean building. Just garage space.
...and (mumbling) partition is.. .glass partition
there and that the people in that office can
observe us. Taking the place...other(mumbling)
wide space (phonetic). That's all.
#1~! Ok. I want you to just remain relaxed, relax
and concentrate. I want you to go back through
the building one more time. Look and see if you've
missed anything. When you're ready start drawing.

about 2 or 3 of these other guys in coverall...

#{08 I..uh..get conflicting impressions.. .one that..
that's been more or less converted to a play(phonetic)
room of sorts and supervised type thing. That's
all I can tell you.
##14 Ok. Are you ready for drawing and debrief?
##08 Yes. Ok. The first impression that I had was
somewhat very old building spacious. Like an old
barn. I'll tie this in here. There's a little
building on the left somehow. There's a door
here. And, what I saw initially were huge rectangular
wooden type beams. Got the impression of 2 to 4...
ended up with 4, ok...and there was a wooden
partition there. There was a wide door here which
gave me the impression to go look for another
garage. And, there was a door here and possibly
here. And, from this whole wooden structure...
thereafter, revolves into a building similar
shape but much more modern in concept in that the
floors were cement. The poles were not there
anymore and..uh..what I had seemed to be the
impression of a huge garage with a predominant
color of navy gray and the black and yellow lines
were marked out for parking spaces. And here
(mumbling) ok, so...and this is the separation, or
separate, separate room and this wall had a pre-
dominance of glass, ok, so that you had something
like this. This was an office type space adjoining
this one...not entire glass partition, but a great
deal glass so that you can see what's going in this
area here .... the front area where the black and
yellow lines are.
Ok. so I wrote.. .the first impression I was....
was because it really was arclhaic...old...as
opposed to the second one which gives one the
impression it was converted into a modern garage
with cement walls and predominance of gray. Then
when I went into this building here, this...through
this door ....and there was a wide door here .... so
that you could only... .almost put in two cars at
one time.. .but not quite. I got the impression of
big..uh..grate...storeroom type thing .... I'm not
too sure which way it ran, but it seemed as if
it took up almost half of the building. Then I

#08 went from the ceiling to the wall and I got the
impressions of boxes or something being stored
..rectangular or cardboard stuff. So this
appeared to be a storeroom of such. That's it.
#14 All right. Can you think of anything else?
#08 No. There's only one body in this separate front
office type of thing-like he was supervisor, over-
seerer and that maybe 2 or 3 guys in coveralls
roaming about in this area here. Like they were
maintenance men. Uh..I saw another thing that
changed. Where I told you there were no American
cars initially that was true, but, I think now
there are.
