REMOTE VIEWING (RV) SESSION CC28
1. (S) This report documents a Remote Viewing (RV) session
conduced in compliance with a request from SOD, J3, OJCS,
Pentagon, Washington, D.C. The purpose of the session was
to provide information relevant to the hostage situation in
the L.S. Embassy compound in Teheran, Iran.
2. (S) The remote viewer's impressions of the target are
provided as raw intelligence data and as such have not been
subjected to any intermediate analysis, evaluation or collation.
Interpretation and use of the information provided is the
responsibility of the requestor.
3. (S) The protocol used for this session is detailed in the
document, Grill Flame Protocol, AMSAA Applied Remote Viewing
Protocol ' (S) , undated.
4. (S) Following is a transcript of the viewer's impressions
during the remote viewing session. At TAB A are drawings made
by the remote viewer reference his impressions of the.target

Relax and concentrate now. Concentrate your attention,
your focus. Past few minutes now, you've studied a
photograph. Focus your attention now on the area
designated to you as area H. Move your attention and
your focus now to area H. It's seven o'clock in the
evening in area H. Move your awareness, your focus
to area H. Relax and concentrate. Relax and concentrate
and describe the area to me.
+04 #24.5 Getting a feeling of oriental carpet. (mumbling) reds
and ...uh...
#24.5 (Mumbling) flowing.down..like in a water fall...may be
a carpeted stairway... looking down...see another (mumbling)
reds and brown...like a circle pattern.. .like a carpeted
room... something in middle and it is round shaped..
(mumbling) the carpet is.. .round shape...there is...uh..
windows there, across the room from me. I think I'm up
on the stairs looking over into this room.

+07 #24.5 Let me get into the picture.
I am feeling...it is as though I just walked on the
+10 staircase with a room design vaguely familiar. I feel
that there is something rather massive in the center of
this carpet. It appears to be a convulsing smoothness
and twisting hollows within it. Rather tall. Possibly
six or so feet. It appears a dark gray. I feel there
is a staircase I came down is on the right and they're
above at the top of the stairs. I feel this landing
goes around the back of the room. Continues around the
back of the room. Appears to be a lounge area on the
second floor but this second floor is cut away so you
can see down into the first. The...the feel is that

there are hallways radiating out on the right and the
left, on the ground and the top. The hallway on the
right is in under the staircase and there are windows
to my back and a simple indented inset double door, much
glass in these doors.
#66 What floor are you on now?
+14 #24.5 I feel I am on a ground floor.
#66 Search the area for people.
#24.5 have no one in this area. I feel possibly three or
four up above in the lounge. One person standing to the
right outside the building as though a guard out front.)
I will work the hall.
#24.5 A room down the hall on the right...a table is pushed
to the back of the room. A book shelf or something tall
in the far corner. Getting a feeling of three or four
people on the floor but in bed clothes and things stuff
around them like...the left wall appears to be all books.
There are three or four.. .there's stuff scattered all
around. The door was closed. I see a man laying_ on
laying on his side of a floor on his left elbow, head
dropped looking at the...I think a book...reading a book.
Lying on the floor, head propped on the hand. Maybe
several others there. I think-the door to the next room 133
(mumbling) side by side. The rooms are images shadows
of each other in figuration. I'm next door...next room
down the hall.
#24.5 There are windows on the face fronts of these rooms. Second
time I have seen light coming from the far wall.In (mumbling)
see a chair and a lamp with a table (mumbling)..feel green
or blue carpeting. Room appears narrower than the other.
I feel racks and shelves on my right wall but I do not
feel any people here, at this time. I see...uh...have
this image of the two or three people all going to the
lounge area... like being called out and being (mumbling)
+24 I think they take them into the lounge area for breaks
...don't seem to be doing much. I think the lounge has
windows along the back. I see peoples. . .one or two people
watching out the windows looking. I might be upstairs on
this room thing because the movement was out and around
the corner. It was not upstairs. I may have drifted to
another level.

#66 Ok. How about drawing me the perceptions that you have
had?
#24.5 I know what happened to me. In looking for people I might
have moved to another level. I thought I was on the ground
floor.
#66 Ok. We are starting to draw here on page one.
#24.5 This is something like the thing in the middle of the
floor. I don't know. Weird, modern art, convoluting,
roundnesses and darknesses inside. It's all very smooth
and very modern. As I had it that thing sits in the middle
of this huge (mumbling) Persian rug.. .pattern anyway...
I thought it might be a rug. Let me do you a number two
here...the scene as I saw it when I came in...uh...
This being the front of the building, I think ...for being
a general circular pattern in the whole floor ...I thought
that it was carpeting or a rug..something...but anyway...
number one sits right smack dab in the middle of it.
Anyway, here in the foreground, up high is-the stairway.
going down to...I don't know if #52 got to me or not but
I was walking down the stairway with my hands firmly at
rest on this...what I perceived to be...I got a real
taste for high foluten(phonetic) nice furnishings, nice
carpeting, and this (mumbling) banister ...a grooved
banister ..you know...coming down classic type thing
..anyway looking down at what I felt was the second
floor landing...is where I ended up...this thing is here
the wall comes up here looking down in the corner. . .all
goes up there like that. Whether there was a stairway on
the other side of the room, I don't know. I had the feeling
for some windows along this wall. These things...let's
turn it three dimensional now-these things stick up and
I don't know if it is covered or not but it is like a
partition that sticks in and in here are the doors. I
had the feeling for modern glass'doors in there. This
was a white circle on a dark print. I had the feeling that
the whole room was carpeted. It is a white circle like this
with red inside and that the circle is a print of either
the floor or the rug or whatever is there. It doesn't make
an exact circle. Don't be misled. The print from above
looks like a circle but really it is like mosaic...there
light in the dark and there is dark in the light but when
you look down at it the center part is predominantly-dark
with a little light and circle part is predominantly light
with little dark in it.....so it is all very fuzzy.......

This carpeted stairway...I had the feeling burnt
brown and reds. I'll call it red-brown.
#66 Ok. Now, at the top of the stairs, do you feel yourself
looking down to the first floor or do you feel the place
where you started was on the first floor and you are
looking down to something under the first floor? What
kind of feelings do you have about the floor where this
room is located?
#24.5 I feel that that is first floor and that I was on some
sort of a second floor landing. Reason is because when
I went down there I drifted around the room this way to
....in front of the door and I tried to figure out what
was in the middle of the circle.... statue type thing....
or whatever. But, at that time I said that I perceived
windows behind me...when you started me looking for
people I was over here on the side of the room and I had
people up here in the back and there was some sort of a
lounge area.-- Another part---U - a--ba1Cony ... they could look
or into this as well-behind this pi e..... but I
,-had. an impression of somebody standing outsi e.... like a
guard..... standing outside on the front of the building....
right near this entrance.
#66 From is so called lounge area you could look down
and see this circular array here.
#24.5 Yes. Let's go on to three. Here's the door .... here's
the staircase going up the sides. Now, under that staircase
I had the feeling that the wall continued with these dotted
lines on the ground floor. On the ground floor were the
matching hallways as follows.... radiating out left......
dotted lines and right-under the staircase with dotted
lines...that is the feeling that I had.....then super-
imposed over the top of this is that much.....
#66 Ok. Which area over here is the lounge area?
#24.5 This is here.. .upstairs. I had the feeling of several
...of a lot.....that there were windows along the back....
that there were chairs scattered around and sofas scattered
around...and several pillars like.... ornamental type pillars
you would find in the middle of room. Down here is that
circle pattern. Upstairs is....it is like a split-level
thing. We'll call that first floor idea. I don't know
what is up here. I will draw you a second floor that will
match it. If you lay four on top of number three you will
et the feel for the whole place...... and the hall goes
ff that way .....and this is just a big void ..... and this
s lounge.....and there are several pillars...in this lounge
a ea...under the pillars... middle room are sofas and chairs
a d things...that is the idea I am trying to get across.

One is a ground floor, which I don't know, because I
did not look what was in under it on the ground floor.
And then you have the ...a second type floor above it
which has the staircase leading up to it and this
half deck in the back of the room and there are some
windows along here......
Now I thought that there was a man outside when I was
down on the ground floor. I had my back...and I thought
that there were like three or four people up here in this
lounge area...... nobody down in this central lobby area
or whatever it is...
#66 What role were these three people playing in the lounge?
#24.5 I couldn't tell you because I never got to look at them.
They were just there. I started working on the downstairs
hallway...to check out the right hallway here.
I got a flavor for...like it was an area where they would
take them out of their rooms and let them go out there and
sit and look outside ...... relax.....taking groups by
rooms and not allowing rooms to inter-mix. They would
never allow more than three or four people there at any
one time which is about how many were in a room. I
thought what I had done on sketch three was come back down
the side of the downstairs room, gone in under the stair-
case and made a right and gone down the ground floor
hallway. Then I began describing the rooms, which I will
sketch next. When I got to that empty room and I said
I see people going outside and down the hall and around
the corner and sitting in the lounge. To me it meant
that I had drifted upstairs...I really had never been on
the ground floor-even when I started...but somehow
I drifted upstairs to an empty room and seen---people
on the same level going out to the lounge.
#66 Ok. Let me refresh your recollection then. During the
session you made the statement that there is nobody down
stairs. Let me look upstairs and then proceeded to tell
us about the rooms. All the time during which I felt you
were on the second floor.
#24.5 Maybe that's what I did. I lost track ...I can't tell
precisely. I had thought though that what I had done was
hooked a right and under the staircase, but I may have
gone up the staircase and hooked a right. I don't know.

#24.5 I had the feeling that the layout going down the hall was
opposite mirror images of rooms were closer together in
twos so that the doors were close together. So that the
layout of one room on the right would be just flip-flopped
over to be the identical layout on the one to the left.
So I went in this room.....door was closed.....I would have
to presume it was the first one that I got to, but I am
not sure...... moving on to six......get enough of a wall
. here....thank you .....
Ok. Had the feeling that this whole left wall, right
inside the door was book shelves type thing. The whole
bloody thing-that a table had been pushed....nobody
could sit behind it or use...all the way back to the
room ...almost to the window...and that there was a long
relatively low possibly...it looks like one big window...
but it had something down the middle of it.....on this
side of the room was another but smaller, bookshelf type
of a thing long and sticking up like that. This table
had been pushed all the way to the back and I had the
...at first I thought there were people in there...and
that there were people in beds in there. . .but then I
got the idea that it was just a floor level clutter of
garbage.. ..of sheets and clothes and beds..... stuff
and everything.... here on the right side. I had a feeling
of one guy, like that, laying on-his left side on the floor,
with his arm propped... propping up his head, like doing
something on the floor in front of him,,,like reading a
book....sits down on the floor like this ..... I...that is
the only one that I saw clearly....I had the feeling
though that this....on the right side of the room here....
..the room is....I ought to make this guy bigger because
it really was not that large a room....that there were
maybe two or three other people laying there on this one
side of the room....doing things....and I had another
fleeting impression of somebody sitting on the table
in front of the window with his legs hanging over like this.
Some guy sitting there...the table... somebody else here...
maybe another one or two here...two or three.....
#66 What roles were these people playing?
#24.5 The passive waiting roles. I don't think this guy was
a watcher. I think he was just. one of them that just
climbed up to sit on the table. I had the feeling that
these guys here may have been prisoners and the door was
closed...it was just like they were locked in and they
were just left to their devices for a period of time.
This one was reading...and this one just...they might have
been talking...I don't know...I didn't get any feeling for
conversation or anything like that. I don't know. They
were active though. . .they were not sleeping. Active or doing
things themselves....like this guy reading his book.....

I did not get anything else. No. I guess I did get
another guy. I had the feeling of another guy sitting
somewhere in there with his legs crossed..... another
guy sitting there....he might have been reading....
I didn't see what he was doing...but he was sitting
somewhere in there. The door is here in the foreground
on the left side...that dotted line is the door frame..
the only thing of furniture that I saw was table.....
Seven was the room next door. . .this is the room on the
right. Room on the right was empty. Inside the door on
the left was a chair and I had this funny weird feeling
of a lamp that had a table built into it. Standing type
of lamp that had a little table built into it....chair
there...let me see...the window down here. I got the
distinct impression that this room was empty. And it
seemed narrower than the other one. It seemed...where
this room might have been 20 feet wide.. .the one on the
right might have been 20 feet wide...I got the impression
the one on the left was maybe only 15 feet wide. For
some reason it seemed significantly narrower.
Now when I was in the room on seven and I was looking
around there's no people here....where did they go....
sort of a thought that flipped through my mind and that
is when I got this idea that they were being allowed in
the lounge area...like on a rotational basis .... because
I had the feeling of seeing people walking--p ast me at the
door, make a left to them, which was a right to me, walk
down just a little ways, and hook around the corner, and
I sort of knew intuitively that that was the lounge area.
That is when I began to wonder whether I was upstairs or
not. That is when I realized that I might be upstairs.
Because the lounge area was on the same level that I was.
That is when I got the idea that the people in the lounge
were a group of two or three type, but that they were,
I had feeling that some were looking out the windows...
at the back of the last (mumbling)standing in front of
these windows and looking out at whatever was out there.
And others, ultimately sitting down in the lounge chairs.
That is about it.......what else......that is about all

1. (S) The viewer has been exposed to open source news media
information as well as classified overhead imagery. He knew he
would be working against the hostage situation in Iran.
2. (S) At the time of the session the viewer was shown overhead
imagery of the US Embassy compound in Teheran, Iran. The imagery
is not included herein due to its classification.
