REMOTE VIEWING (RV) SESSION CC5
1. (S) This report documents a Remote Viewing (RV) session
conducted in compliance with a request from SOD, J3, OJCS,
Pentagon, Washington, D.C. The purpose of the session was
to provide information relevant to the hostage situation in
the U.S. Embassy compound in Teheran, Iran.
2. (S) The remote viewer's impressions of the target are
provided as raw intelligence data and as such have not been
subjected to any intermediate analysis, evaluation or collation-
Interpretation and use of the information provided is the
responsibility of the requestor.
3. (S) The protocol used for this session is detailed in the
document,- Grill Flame Protocol,-AMSAA--Applied-Remote Viewing
Protocol (8), undated.
4. (S) Following is a transcript of the viewer's impressions
during the remote viewing session. At TAB A are drawings made
by the remote viewer reference his impressions of the target
site. At TAB B is target cueing information provided the
remote viewer.

Focus your attention on the area in the vicinity of
42 degrees, 31 minutes,00 seconds North
51 degrees, 25 minutes, 30 seconds East

Relax and concentrate and describe the area to me.
#11 I see a road or something that seems to curve to
the left behind a low hill. I'm not getting a lot
of foilage or anything. The hill seemed bare.
I didn't feel alot of gr-een around me. Mostly earthy
colors.
#66 Looking down at this area from an altitude of 10,000
feet, describe it to me.
#11 ...impression of long straight lines. May be road.
Then there was kind of a curvy windy thing kind of
like you'd see if there was a river.. .and then there
appears to be some kind of triangle intersection.
Again, the country looks, down there it's browns and
grays, and tans ...I don't get the impression of
a lot of greens or, or trees or grass, or anything.
If I had to describe it, it would'-be a... some kind of
a semi-arid

#66 Ok. I'm going to give you a little bit more
information... see if you can focus a little bit
better. Ok. I have in my hand a picture of two
individuals. We know that they're in the vicinity
of the coordinance I gave you, but, we're interested
more in their precise location. Their immediate
surroundings. Focus your attention on the two
individuals whose pictures I have, I'm looking at
right now. Focus your attention on these individuals.
Become aware of their immediate surroundings and
describe their location to me.
From my left I have flickering pattern of light
and to my right there's a window...uh...for some
reason I had the feeling it was a... looked like
looking out a window of an aircraft. But that may
have been affected by that pattern of flickering light
on my left, 'cause ...it's kind''a. like a pattern when
you... fire up an aircraft ;prope'ller driven engine
and the light is flickering through it. That's the
affect it was, but the window I looked through wasn't
mounted on a square wall, or whatever. It was kind of
in a rounded structure.

#11 I guess, I saw it twice...uh...I don't know if it's
a news media effect in there ..what I, but I got
twice the impression with somebody with their hands
tied behind their backs... (sigh)...
#66 Tell me more about this. Describe these people to
to me, these individuals.
#11 Uh...all I...the only flash I got it looked like
there were...arms extended behind somebody's back...
and tied ...uh...I'm not sure I saw two individuals
or one. I don't know.

#66 Ok. Tell me about the area surrounding them.
#66 Describe the wall to me.
+25 #11 It's stone, masonry... it's flat across the top
but there's some.. .like as if there were columns
s..s..square things-every so... so far along the
wall and they extended a little above the top edge
of the wall. The masonry in this wall wasn't
red brick or anything like that. I don't think it
was brick. Kind'a natural stones. May even have
been stuccoed.
#66 Ok. Fine. Now, I ask you once again. these individuals
that you-seem to see...what about their immediate
surroundings?
#11 It's odd. Just when you were saying that I seem to
be way up on the ceiling of a vbry?..high room...
very, very high ...uh...it's round.. .round wooden
floor.. .dark hard wood ...uh...dark ...the room is dark
but there's a doorway that I saw that was lighted
beyond the doorway... definite impression of a round room
Well...prior to the... the impression I had...uh...
seeing the arms tied back (mumbling) ... impressions
of something fortress or whatever. I know there
was a wall, or something.

#11 I don't think that these individuals are together.
Tell me what makes you say that.
I saw two...I had two impressions of these ...of, of
hands being tied behind their back. One was
different than the other...uh...I just had a
feeling that these were two separate impressions
...no, wait a minute...I'm not sure about that.
..uh...at one time it almost seemed like they were
tied together, but then when I went to that circula
room I had the impression that ...uh...there maybe
one somewhere, I didn't feel the other one. I
don't know if it's jumping sideways...(mumbling)...
...it's confusing. I can't figure it out. Initial
impression, it seemed like there were two people
tied together, arms and back. They were tied to
each other. Then I had an impression of a set of
arms, individual tied, and then I had an impression
after that, later on of another set. It's possible
I could be picking up on four or two at different
times. I don't know.
+30 #66 Ok. Well, don't try to analyze what you are
viewing, ok. I have no further questions about the
target today. So I'd like to give you the opportunity
to say anything, at this time, that you might want
to say.
#11 It doesn't make sense. Uh...I think, overall, the
most significant things that, that the light flickering
or flashing ...uh..left of my position.
#66 Ok. Something about light flickering and flashing.
#11 Yeah. Uh...almost like a strob...bright light
reflection from a mirror or something, maybe, I dcin't
know. Strong triangle shapes... several times...don't
know what or why...

down here, then when we put it in the binder
it won't ......get covered up.
#66 Ok. I'd like you now to sketch some of the
impressions that you've had.
Ok. This is kind of a road, or roadway or maybe
a river, I don't know. Whatever it is, it curves
around, I think it was ... very straight-probably
more for a road than a river. There may have been
some hills out in back, but there were-small low
hills, or this went around a small low hill.

This is more of an aerial perspective and I don't
know how to put it together. I was getting...
straight lines somewhere. I don't know how they
relate to the thing in whole. Straight lines like
you see...uh...oh, like a road going through the
desert or the, those lines down ..down in Peru or
whatever. There may have been several crisscross
...and then there was this shape like you see in
old river, whatever. Then there seemed to be this
triangular shape thing.' These may have been roads,
or whatever, I don't know. This was a solid piece
and these were lines, and I don't know if they
went off in that direction. Then, it was odd, I
don't know how to make flickering lights, but
there was very definite flickering of flashing light,
almost like a strob.over here. I'll just put strob.
And, up to my right appeared to be, like looking
out the window of an airplane, or something. There
appeared to be kind of a curved surface back here.
Came down like that. Definite impression looking
out of the window of some kind. And, both of these
came simultaneously. This was to the left and this
was to the right.
What else do we have?
#66 Ok. Then I said that I was holding a picture ...uh...
of two people and that I would like you to describe
the immediate area where these people were located.

#66 ....... and then you said that you saw somebody with
their hands bound-concerned about the news media,
or something.
#11 Yeah.
#66 What was your impression? What was your ......
#11 I don't know. My impression was some type of
hostage situation, but that, you know, and I just
kept throwing that out, but stuff kept coming back.
#11 Uh...so I don't, you know, I really don't know.
But, at first, and I'll draw these in stages,
like A, B, and C. At first, I was kind of looking
down, and this isn't going to be, you know,
absolutely accurate, super accurate, or anything
like that. Seemed like there were several pair of
hands, like that, and at that, that first instant,
that first shot here on A, appeared like this might
belong to somebody else, like, you know, his hands
were tied together like this, and his hands were
together like this, and they were all tied together.
Or, somehow they appeared connected together; and
B was more of a side shot with ...uh...you know,
instead of hands coming back like that... (sigh)
and C was the same thing from a different, different
angle ...I don't know. I guess A and B situated, but
I saw two separate different Bs .....

#11 It's that wall and there may have been something
behind it...uh...a structure, or something ...uh...
I had the feeling that this wall was made up of
natural type stone but that it may have been stuccoed
over that, and...uh...and it might have come off in
some places, or whatever. 'cause I...I was getting
it the same time an impression of a smooth wall
but then a, a natural stome, made out of natural stone.
And it appeared to be some type of a...it reminded
me of a fortress of some type.

#11 And then we had that room ...uh...
#66 ...particularly interested in that. What made
you...uh...say it was a circular room?
#11 I don't know. It looked circular. I had a
real clear shot...I had back here, it was odd too,
when I was focusing on these, I had... let's see..
I had an impression of a circle and this..wood
...uh...nice dark, nice petina to it and all that,
dark wood. But that was a separate, it was almost
... it was separate. I didn't see the people sitting
in a round room or anything, but I had that same
impression within this time period. And then when
I went back to look for a room I was way up looking
down, and...I don't know, there may have been a
window here, or something, this large round room....
and this ..... this I.. .definitely identify with
this 'cause again was a dark wooden floor, but, it
was very high ceiling and it seemed to be relatively
ornate, type thing. I don't know how to draw it any
better than that. It may have been .... this stairway
was light, lit up. There may have been another
doorway over here. But it was dark.
#66 You had the impression that the people are in this
room?
#11 That's the impression I had, because when I focused
on ...for the pea.....you know, I focused on the, the
people. Where at least one out of two is in that
room. When I...when I focused on the individuals,
I saw this room.
#66 Ok. And you did comment before that you thought
that they might not be in the same location together.....
#11 Together.... they may be in the same general area
but they're not ..... I had a feeling they were separated
somehow but it was odd because I saw this thing with
two people tied up. They both had their hands
tied, like that, but they were tied together on one
side.

1. (S) The remote viewer had been exposed to open source news
media information prior to the session. He had not seen overhead
imagery prior to the session. He did not know he would be working
against the,,ostage situation in Iran.
2. (S) The following page shows the only information provided to
him at the time of the session. He was not actually shown the
picture until after the session.
