TRANSCRIPT SUMMARY
REMOTE VIEWING (RV) SESSION D-97
1. (S/NOFORN) The following information was obtained at 0900 hours, 30 October 80.
Source #08.
a. (S/NOFORN) Source had been briefed that we wanted to know if the
"firewall" connecting the U.S. Embassy (see photos TAB C) to the adjacent building
contained anything that would be on concern to USI.
b. (S/NOFORN) Source reported that a portion of the wall on the second
floor was part of a steel plated vault. He had the impression of someone trying
to see through it.
c. (S/NOFORN) Source reported street floor was clean.
d. (S/NOFORN) Source reported finding two "black dots" in wall on second
floor (see drawing #1), felt that there was a black line on the opposite wall
that runs from the rear to the front of the building. When questioned, the
source stated that the black dots were listening devices, but that there were no
wires to them.
e. (S/NOFORN) Source reported that lighting fixture in center of room on
second floor should be looked at very carefully.
f. (S/NOFORN) Source felt that these listening devices may have been in
place or started about 6 years ago.
g. (S/NOFORN) When questioned as to where this input to the listening
devices is picked up, source reported that there was a room in the basement of
the corner building where everything was recorded on a large reel. Usually this
place was manned by 1 individual, although at times there were 2 people
.present. Source reported first individual as being about 40-42 years of age,
about 6 feet tall, and balding. Felt he looked like Giscard d'Estaing. Source
reported that individual spoke Slavic language. Finally, source reported that
material was picked up by someone driving old black van.
2. (S/NOFORN) Request the above information, once evaluated, be returned with
comments to this office (ATTN: IAOPS-H-S). Comments should be in writing.
This will permit a full evaluation of the source of information by this office.
A detailed transcript can be provided concerning the above project sessions if
necessary.
