#66: Let us move now to minus five days.
PAUSE
#10.5: Mmm...nah...I don't have anything more.
#66: Okay. We have a break in concentration here. We're
going to go ahead and.....
#10.5: .....caused by a body cramp.
#66: Body cramp, huh! (Mumble)...So we're going to go ahead
at this time and..uh..prepare to do the drawing.
#66: Okay. we're oonna run out of tape, uh, here, so, what
I'm gonna do is go ahead and turn the tape over right now
before we start drawing.
(ADMIN NOTE: Tape changed over)
#66: Okay. We're ready to go now.
#10.5: Okay. Well, probably the best thing for me to do is to
start with this ...block house idea. That wasn't actual...
as I was...this block house with two...'an the back of it,
sort'a went up like that, something like that, 'an it's
nestled. There's ...it's like nestled on a... 'an got scrub
brush around it on this one side. And this is like some kind
of a low ridge. Here on the right side of it is a..huh..
this is flat... Looked almost like it was a mode strip.
And, then there's scrub brush ridge with scrub, on the left,
scrub on the right. I mean this was bleaksville,LLman. I
was the bar-most ..probably the most boring target I've
ever had to work. There's nothing to look at, and dawn
here at the end, this is like a gentle down hill slope. I'll
draw an overview. Like the view from the block house. Huh....
#66:
yI'm ou'retdrawing.1nDohyouahaveunorthrtoltheotopnofhthekpage?
Y
410.5: No.
#66: Do you know where north is on that sketch?
#10.5: North would be..... north would be off like over the ridge
line. I'd have to look over the ridge line. So, that
would be north.
Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : C

#66: All right.
#10.5: Umm...Okay. And, here is some sort of derrick that
protrudes up at an angle. Like this. I don't know if
it was vehicular mounted or what, but something like that.
A long construction-type derrick, crane is what I mean
that had something hanging from it like that. Just
randomly sitting at the end of the scrub line. All right.
That's one.
Now two will be the view where I was stretched out. Me
leaning casually in the morning, sun laid against this block
house. I would have much more preferred to examine the
block house, but...ha, ha, ha...guess that's the way I am,
I guess..... Okay. And, looking from two, in what this
would be north over here..ummm.. this is like a lip, and
we go down into a bowl of several..... like tens of miles
far away on the horizon to the northwest is rugged hills.
I zoomed over there and checked them out and then came
back. Early in the session, when I was talking about the
hills, I was actually over there, and in between this block
house, and the rugged hills is just this vast wasteland.
It..just like-just a dust bowl. It's like...no vegetation..
little vegetation, at least low type of stuff.,uh..rugged
hills to the northwest. Okay. Out here to the rightvvalley
like goes out. This is just, it's just this bowl idea.
Okay. Now, in two when I first arrived on the scene, you
know, I was checking this out. I knew where I was. I
knew that I was at...I mean, no place this desolate, and
this eradicated, and this rubbed out, could possibly have
been a natural place. And, I just sort of knew that I had
been sent to a nuclear test site, you know, where things
actually work ...boom, boomed. Okay. And, when I got there,
and I just sort of did this quick check of the area, and
everything-and there was nothing happening, nothing to
draw or hold my attention or fascinate me ther ....uh.....
I had this classical mushroom.
I mean, it just spontaneously boom, I don't know if that
was...if I was drifting in time, and this was, what I
think is that this mushroom cloud shape that occurred at
this point was confirmation to me that, yes, I was at a
nuclear test site. But....and, I was like, you know, the
imagery coming through to verify the nature of the site. Not
necessarily that something was going on right then.... Anyway..

#10.5: ....so, from the very outset of the-of the session, I
was...how do you describe it? I was, fighting or trying to
work through what I thought may be just a preconceived
notion...about the whole thing. This is the scrub.....
hills are ten miles...to the crane is one-half miles....
the ridges, maybe, one mile. That's the ridge on the
right. Okay. So, I went aerial. I think I remember
in the session you told.me...you asked me when I first
had my acquisition, you know and I said, hey, I'm here, and
you said go up, well, by this time I had sort of already
acquired this data, as I recall. We would have to check
the transcript. My recollection of this session is a
little jumbled. But, when I went aerial, I just had this
....just this feeling like I was at five mile altitude,
looking down sort of laterally at this boiling, broiling
cloud of, you know, rumbling, dust and dirt floating up
into the atmosphere in a..... you know. I had no.....
I couldn't find anything on the ground. It was just...
the ground, for some reason the ground, I just did not want
to look at the ground, you know, around there. I tried.
The only thing I could see was this cloud, now, and I could
not acquire..like a map for anything. Okay. When we
started looking around, and I guess it was when we
started looking through time...uh... Let me draw an overview.
Okay. This comes down into the bowl. The thing might
look like this. Okay. This is the bowl area.I started
looking around things...I had the feeling that this was
also somewhat of a little ridge line here. But, just
very, very vague, and bare, you know. Not much..........
This is the predominant ridge on the right. Anyway, that
....some armored vehicles, when I. said vehicle movement,
it was armored vehicles, were moved down into a position.
where the X was around, behind, and maybe two miles away
from the derrick. On the other side of where I was ..that
the...this white plastic...dome...was like there... and.....
#66: Can you put words by those little drawings?
#10.5: Yeah. The dome. I had the feeling that this dome was
like one of those pressurized mashed heads, you know.
Something like that........
All my vehicles to the X, the dome somewhere over here,
and this is the mount ---uh..hills. Also somewhere up
here, close to me, was where the radar van was. I'll. call
it a radar van for lack of any better word. Okay. That
might be one-point-five miles, and north is up in this
direction here. Okay. That's four.

#10.5: Umm....Five, for five, I don't know what you want me to draw.
Anyhow, I can't remember the time frames that you gave me.
I know they were weeks, but I can't remember what weeks
with. what. But, it was like a casual pace was going and
somebody was, every once in a while, taking things at a
weeks chunk. Somebody'd move up some armored vehicles, and
then I happened to notice this dome shaped thing, I don't
know if that was there or was there before... Then I saw
like two to three GI type people screwing around with this
radar van, and I just got the general idea that, oh, well,
you know, here are two...got an upcoming test and they're
prepositioning equipment to monitor the test, and to..umm
you know, venture in the aircraft, and to determine the
effects of radiation on, you know, uh, various pieces of
equipment, and such and such, you know, to watch the c:i000.
and charter his progress, and all that kind of stuff.
It was just basic prepositioning activity. Uh...okay, and
as we moved on through the weeks, then I, then I, this
otherwise abandoned block house was going to be occupied
by guinea pigs, and that they were mr.ving in thirty or
forty troops to..uh..occupy the place, Umm...which was
cool. You know. I figured that as much. I did not get
the idea that these were technicians or trained observers
or anything like that. .I just got the idea that they were
kicked off the back of a couple duce and a halves, and
forced to occupy the building for an unknown period of time.
Umm....and that was about it...and, we'd go through, and
finally in one, one week, whichever week it was, five
or six I guess it was six, maybe...I had this..uh..I think
that was about the time somewhere in there you re-read me
the coordinates. Somewhere through there you re-read me
the coordinates, and I had a, I think it was like a fire
tower, and..uh..and I remember saying to myself words like
....why the hell would they have a large tower like that
at ground zero bunked, and that seemed sort of ridiculous
to go and erect some big structure. like that only to have
it wasted away.......... Height? It was maybe 100 feet.
Okay. So, anyway marching through Georgia again...uh...
then, at week six, I had this feeling that from my view
.....I was reenacting sketch 2, and that off on the horizon,
right about in the middle of this bowl area, was this
brilliant light. I did not see a brilliant light. There
was this suggestion of, okay, they're popping the big one
this time, you know. This is it...phoo......brilliant light,
and..uh..the next thing that I had was, I felt like I was
standing down. This is as close as I apparently wanted to
get. That I.... When I said I was standing with my ankles
in dust... okay...I think when I was standing with my ankles
Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : Cl

in dust, I was down in the bowl. Okay. I didn't
particularly like it down there. So, I'd always come
back to the block house, but, when I was..uh..when I
said that I have this feeling of this rushing, billowing,
big dust cloud like ...a dust cloud front coming at me....
was right after the suggestion of a pinpoint of light on
the hori...you know, down in this bowl thing, and this
billowing cloud was, you know...it was just massive.
It was a meteorological event type of massiveness. Okay.
Like a huge, dust cloud sweeping across the Sahara desert,
you know. Which is...a thousand, fifteen feet high type
.....and this wind storm, and sand just grit....where it
just rushing acrossed at me, okay. And, I feel at..time
that where I was located was down over this edge, down
on the edge of the bowl, maybe three miles or so from
my little block house. Then, suddenly I said, no, wait
a minute, phew back to the block house sucker, ha, ha, ha
....I ain't hanging around here. So,...uh...any..........
#66: I believe the description you just gave me came at week
six minus four days, if I remembered correctly what it is.
#10.5: Aha..Okay, and then the....before I had that .... that's the
interesting thing..... before I had that, I had, well, now
that I think about it, that's only logical ...I had like..
uh..the domed shaped thing, whatever that was, I had the
feeling it had just been phew...like somebody had just
picked it up and thrown it about a half of a mile to the
east, and it was just all tangled, and all screwed up in
pieces, and shred and torn, and it was stuck up in that
shrub...-..this scrub brush. The armored vehicles, I
didn't get any feeling for what had happened there. The
little test van that had the funny dish shape...the dish
on it-...and everything, I had the feeling that that was
not destroyed, but was just being serviced and being taken
back, you know ...being dismantled and being moxed away......
This block house type thing.-....and there's this ridge line
in the background here. All the bushes right up close to it.
Almost growing out of it, you know. Anyway, I had the
feeling that they were hauling guys out of this that were in
pretty sad shape............. ............................
Ummm.....that the....... they were not being carried out with
the, with the luxury of.....of..uh..stretchers...........
You see what I mean? They're being carried out like that.
#66: Okay.

#10.5: You know. Legs draping and arms draping and flopping
around, and everything ..okay. And, I had the feeling
that four or five injured or dead, whatever day that was.
I don't know either. That's about it. That's all I can
think of.
#66: Okay. And, you'd said before that..uh..you didn't think
you were at ground zero. That ground zero was somewhat
north to you.
#10.5: Yeah. North, maybe slightly east of north, but not
much more than that.
#66: Okay.
#10.5: And, there was a distance of maybe......
I'd say five to eight miles.
#66: Okay. Anything else?
