Relax and concentrate now. Relax and focus your attention on the building in the photograph I have shown you. Focus your attention on the building in the photograph I have shown you, and as you do, begin to perceive that building in .the time period midnight tonight at.the target to 6 a.m tomorrow morning at the target. Move your awareness now to the target, and to the time period specified. Focus, focus clearly now and describe the target building to me. +03 #08: Okay. There's a....get the distinct impression here of 6 or 8 guard personnel on the first floor. There's nobody ,.....no U.S., no hostages..... courted on the first floor. #66: Okay, now. Let's be very careful not to make your perceptions fit a scenario of the past in this country. Let's be careful only to report that imagery which you see...those impressions which you have. +04 #08: Okay. In the first floor is business type, business type activity. ......That's 6 or 8 people. It's still the raw impression. I'm still connected with......... keeping of the hostages, somehow. #66: Okay. Tell me what is that. Is that...... #08: It's just 6 or 8 bodies floating, around in there someplace. #66: How are they dressed? #08: Well, they're certainly not dressed like businessmen. It's eithbr...it's like jeans or denim ...and jackets... like field jackets somehow. #66: Okay. Now, perceiving this at the midnight hour, what was the activity you perceived here? #08: I just was trying to get a feel for, for the building. Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : CIA-RDP96-00788ROO0300760001-6 Approved For Release 2000/Q / :"$ZW-00788R000300760001-6 #08: Least 6 or 8 people are there, but there is no activity at midnight. #66: What is the function of these 6 or 8 people? #08: They seem to be ported(phonetic) in, in office spaces, but they don't really belong to the activity of the building. #66: What is the activity of the building? #08: It's like a business activity of separate offices. Particularly on the first floor, I think. #66: Okay. Expand your awareness now. Expand your awareness now until you can sense clearly, cleanly, and concisely all areas of the entire building. All things become visible to you. All things are understandable. What is the function of the entire building? #08: The business aspects of the building rests in the front portion of the building on all floors. Originally, it's an activity that... is notnecessarily .... related to one another. #66: What is the nature of the business in the building? #08: I am just getting a grasp of that. PAUSE +10 Got a distinct image of a man in a black suit and a black tie and a white shirt on a second floor. ......He's a business man. He's not there right now, but he was there. Dealt in,:. something like haberdashery, or something. I think he and his associates (mumbling) walking by the second floor window. #66: Okay. Let's approach this question from a different angle. now. #08: Yeah. Go ahead. #66: Once again, focusing on the entire building, and expanding your awareness to become knowledgeable of all the areas of the building, to see the building clearly, cleanly and precisely, and in this mode, ask yourself, ask yourself what is the most important aspect of this building...... #08: At midnight. #66: Yeah. Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : CIA-RDP96-00788R000300760001-6 Approved For Release 2000/08/ 788R000300760001-6 #08: The only thing that I perceive are temporary type cots next to windows that ...not...should not normally be there, but are there. #66: All right. Move 12 hours into the future, noon, the following day, and ask yourself, once again, now, what is the most important aspect of this building. #08: I did, and I get a lot of people in white shirts. Great deal of activity. #66: Explain the nature of the activity. #08: I don't know. It discussions. It's...like they're.....it's like....-it's like a business meeting, but it's not business, and it's government oriented. It's Iran oriented. ....... It' has something to do with the Iranian government of the future. #66: Okay. Move backwards now, in time, 12 hours to midnight. #08: Yeah. #66: Now, become aware of the building; the whole building, and the surrounding grounds around the building, and the immediate around the building. #08: Yeah. #66: Now, ask yourself, what protection is being given this building; what security considerations have been given to this building, and explain that to me. #08: As soon as you said that, it's a very tight, very close to the building..uh..there's.. almost like a cord in..uh.. personnel..around the building, but it's close, it's very close to the building. No one is venturing far from there. #66: Tell me more about this. #08: Huh. #66: Tell me some more about this that you perceive. #08: Just a raw impression, like ...people at very close intervals ............ going ....... Best way I can describe it is a cord (phonic) ...of people around the building...... at close intervals...... Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : CIA-RDP96-00788R000300760001-6 Approved For Release 2000/0 -RbFSM7 8R000300760001-6 #66: Okay, we're talking about midnight to six a.m. Do you see this cordon of people throughout this time? #08: I didn't when I first saw the building at midnight..... I don't see it at night, I ..... Later when it comes daylight, then if it's in when at night it seems to remove itself... very sparse. #66: Fine. Let's keep your focus then in the midnight hour. Keep your focus very narrow in the midnight hour, and explain specifically what happens then. #08: The (mumble) thing is that the activity inside ceases. It's not there....... There's only one or two people outside and that's it. #66: Okay. Are there still-, do you still perceive people inside on cats or anything? #08: The cots are still by the big windows in the side... It's... oddly enough there's nobody in there... It's as if... they will be used, or can be used if needed, as if... if, should the sessions during the day continue... then the cots would be used. #66: Okay. #08: I don't know. #66: Now, I understand then that you have empty cots inside. #08: Yeah. #66: A couple of people outside- #08: Yeah. #66: Are these guard type people? #08: Yeah, yeah they're like, almost label them caretakers as opposed to guards. #66: All right. And before you had perceived six or eight people inside. Do you feel that they are inside in the midnight hour? #08: It's as if that group of six or eight people were working like overtime, not continuously, but in their individual office on issues and activities that take place during the day, that kind of... #66: Okay. Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : CIA-RDP96-00788R000300760001-6 Approved For Release 2000/08/ 88R000300760001-6 #08: ...direct activity during the day. #66: Now move very slowly at one hour intervals from midnight to six a.m., and watch these, watch the security posture of the building and explain to me any changes or any status that you see during the midnight to six hour time span. #08: It varies between one and two or three of these caretaker personnel, the emphasis is prevailing... is to be ready in the morning before the activity takes place.....and that's when your security is beefed up...during the daylight or just shortly before...the daylight hours are concurrently...not the daylight hours, but maybe an hour, half hour before the activity takes place. #66: And what is the nature of this beef up of security? #08: More people...... #66: Okay. #08: Some of these are the cats inside. Not all of them stay, but some of them stay, not all night, like somebody working overtime and taking off during the night. #66: Okay. #08: Okay. #66: I have no further questions about the target. I'd like to give you the opportunity to add anything that you might have. #08: One last thing. I got the impression when I started and I had it before we even-this is sometimes uses a shuttle to house some of your... important hostages... That's all. #66: Okay, good. Let's prepare to draw, now. #06: Okay. #66: Okay, you said that as you came upon the building I asked you to describe, kind of, what you had, and you said that you had some sort of business offices or something like that? #08: Yeah, well the first thing I was doing was looking for hostages. It was really out of habit, looking for hostages. #66: All right. Well this may or may not be hostage connected and I didn't want to...I don't know, so I wanted to make sure you reported only the imagery you saw and not create anything. Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : CIA-RDP96-00788R000300760001-6 Approved For Release 2000/0 8R000300760001-6 #08: Well, I felt there was a sense of emptiness, particularly in, you know, in the midnight hour. #66: Okay. 408: Then the six or eight people, that's the only... #66: Now do I understand you say they were scattered throughout the building? #08: Yeah, yeah, it was not... It was perceived as a group of people, but working... for a common goal but independently in various small offices. Okay? Then when we looked at it during the daylight hours, the thing was bustling with act- ivity. #66: Okay. During the nighttime hours you called these things business offices, then during the daylight hours you seemed to have a different opinion, that this was like a, some sort of government offices. #08: Well, it should have been a;-business thing, but like the business thing was a front for some kind of, I don't want to say conspiracy, but there was something about discussion of politics, on the government of Iran, and that thing. But I can't put my finger on it, like I can't tell you what... #66: Okay. #08: It was like...you know, maybe I'd go with the scenario with the cots, too, they were empty, it was like the mafia holding up with mattresses or something, and talking about the govern- ment and it's future, and what they're going to do... #66: Okay. #08: ...or what they will not do. #66: Okay. And... #08: During the day the building seemed heavily corded off with personnel type, guard type personnel, and that night there was only two or three. #66: And these two or three at night, you said, were not so much guard personnel as... #08: They were... caretaker type personnel. But they were outside. #66: And what were they physically doing outside? #08: Just watching. Just keeping an eye on things so to speak. #66: Okay, fine. I'd like you to draw for me kind of a, just a Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : CIA-RDP96-00788R000300760001-6 Approved For Release 2000/08/ R000300760001-6 1, "A"IT175171T r ---T` #66: rectangle diagram of the.building, and where you saw these few people. Okay, I'm particularly interested in the care- taker personnel you said you saw outside. Can you tell me where they were located? #08: Right in the front of the building, and they were, like they were on cement steps. #66: Okay, were they grouped together, were they spread out? #08: No, they were kind of spread out, but it was a very leisurely thing-maybe one on each side of the building and sometimes it changed from one to two, and sometimes three, and I think there was supposed to be two, but sometimes only one was left there. #66: Okay. As you looked through the hours, you saw... #08: Yes, kept changing from one to two to three. #66: Okay, were these people armed? #08: No, I didn't see them armed. #66: Okay. And during the day, the, uh... #08: During the day was, there was a very definite, different, distinct feeling of beefed up security, like there was... important meetings in there and the entire surrounding, entire perimeter, post perimeter isn't far away from the damn building, it's very close, was very well cordoned offswith people. #66: Okay, can you kind of draw that for me, depict that for me? Do one picture of the day, time, hours, just around the rec- tangle of the building, and one picture of the nighttime and I think that'll be sufficient. #08: These are just impressions, I didn't count or anything. #66: Okay. #08: It's really wider this way, but that's all right... I got it. Like, you know, they could've been much farther away and still maintained a heck of a lot of good security. And these cats were very close, very close to the walls of the building. And it was an impression like there was really tight security all around there. Like a cordon of people around the building, it's just an impression. #66: Were there any physical barriers, uh, fences... #08: No. No, no, I didn't go much beyond the building, because this attracted my attention during the day. Okay? Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : CIA-RDP96-00788R000300760001-6 Approved For Release 2000/08/0 788R000300760001-6 #66: And inside during the day, just to reiterate, you had many people in white shirts, or something? #08: Yes, as if it was almost like they were in, uh, in a stock market meeting, everybody almost talking at the same time with one guy trying to dominate the conversation then some- body else trying to dominate the conversation, and the thing that occured to me was they all had more or less white shirts with open white collars. But there was a lot of activity and quite a sizeable group of people, like a financial, you know, stock market thing, buying shares or something like that, a lot of din, noise, so to speak. #66: Many, many people talking at the same time- #08: Yes, yes, trying to dominate a conversation, trying to dom- inate a scene. #66: Okay. Okay. Now let's see what that looks like now at night. Go to page two, and just-draw- #08: Okay. Now, another thing these other guys were scattered all over the place, these six or eight people. #66: Now that's daytime or nighttime? #08: Nighttime... #66: Okay, let's go to page two for nighttime. #08: I got the impression that, uh, yeah that's right, that's daytime, uh, like someone was working overtime in preparation for the next days activity. #66: Okay. #08: Okay, that's the impression I got there. #66: As opposed to staying there all night and guarding the build- ing. #08: No, they didn't stay there, it wasn't a question of staying there. I might have got the two confused, but, no..... Nighttime you just had a couple people, sometimes three, sometimes two, sometimes they come into a group, sometimes this guy would talk... #66: I take it then that you don't see anybody around any other of the sides of the building, just maintained in one, like in the front of the building. #08: Yeah. Uh, that picture, that's what it was, a strong image of this guy on the second floor in the black suit, dressed very neatly in a black suit,.black tie, he was definitely Arabic. I don't know. But that was a real... Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : CIA-RDP96-00788R000300760001-6 Approved For Release 2000/ 88R000300760001-6 #66: Very strong image? #08: When I was trying to find out what the heck was happening on the second floor, it was as if he was the chief of this business, that dominated the second floor. You know what I mean, a man in maybe... his fifties, mid fifties. And I got an impression that was purely commercial, but I don't think he was there. But he had been there, and this was where he belonged. He's the haberdashery guy, so to speak. #66: Okay. And then at nighttime then you found these maybe six to eight people who were working overtime, and who eventually dwindled out through the night? #08: Yeah, Yeah, they'd come and go... Not come. They would leave at different intervals during the night, depending on how much work they had to do in preparation for the fol- lowing day. #66: Okay, and where were the cots located, on which wall were the cots? #08: The cots were definitely against the wall. I had the impres- sion of a... cause I focused on the same... #66: On which wall and on which floor were you? #08: I think it was the first. And what I perceived there were windows like this, they were pretty big, very huge windows. And I'll draw one, but there was one right next to it, too. And what it was, there was recessed here, like this. Okay. Let me label that three, and I'll just put window......... And there was, there looked like there was grillwork in here, like lead grillwork, like you would find in a church, some- thing like here, okay? Then, uh, this was on the the wall, this was a huge window, part of the wall, and another window right here. Okay, and then your cots were right underneath the window. #66: Okay, now in diagram, in number two, you've shown the three people out front, and the other people there is inside. On which wall surface are the cots, are they on the front wall, the back;. wall, the side wall? #08: I'm not too sure, but I think it would be on this wall. #66: Okay. You think the cots are on that wall? #08: Yeah. #66: Okay, why don't you write cots by that area. #08: Okay. #66: And on which floor? You're not sure? Okay, now I think the only other comment you had was you still felt the impression that this had been used from time to time for housing an important hostage or something. #66: Can you tell me a little about that? #08: I started off, maybe it's because I was looking for hostages, and I got the impression that this was used as a shuttle place, where they come in and leave, but not in great numbers. And when I had the last three or four minutes I got the impression that those hostages that would be very important would end up here, or have ended,up there now and then. #66: Okay. #08: And I couldn't really divorce it from the hostages. #66: Okay, I understand. Anything else you want to ad.d? #08: No. #66: Okay.
