(S) This report documents a remote viewing session conducted in compliance with a request for information on a target of interest. 2. (S) The viewer was provided the geographic coordinates of the target area at the time of the session. This was his first attempt at this particular area. He was able to achieve his usual state of relaxed concentration. Ambient room noise was moderate and intermittant. The viewer was able to resolve target imagery and work through the noise because of his ability to concentrate on the task at hand. 3. (S) The protocol used for this session is detailed in the document, Grill Flame Protocol, AMSAA Applied Remote Viewing Protocol (S), undated. 4. (S) Following is a transcript of the viewer's impressions during the remote viewing session. At TAB A are drawings made by the viewer reference his impressions of the target site. Approved For Release 2000/08/07: CIA QPAW g8R000300220001-5 Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : Cl REMOTE VIEWING (RV) SESSION CCC9 #66: This will be a remote viewing session for the 4th of March 1980. We have an on-target time of 0900 hours. Relax and concentrate now. Relax. Relax and concentrate. Focus your attention on your target for this morning. SG1A Relax. Relax and concentrate. PAUSE Focus your attention and describe the target to me. PAUSE +07 #11: My general overall impression of the area is . . . . . its lots of trees. . . dark green. . . associated with them. . . . I . . . I get a feeling of . . . . . rather hilly area, perhaps even slightly mountainness. #66: Okay. #11: Along with this, I have a definite impression of something large and circular. What it is, I don't know. I also saw a . . . I'm not sure what it was, it reminded me of a ski jump or something. It seemed to be a road or a path or . . . something . . that came down off a very high hill. At a very, very steep angle. It would be stupid to build a road like that. Approved For Release 2000/08/07: CIA-RDPj '000300220001-5 Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : Cl 000300220001-5 #11: I see. . . . . Again, I'm seeing . . . . forest, +11 mountain. Skiing. PAUSE #66: Okay. Focus now your attention on the specific target SG1A #11: Each time you've read the coordinates, I get. . . and I mention this large round thing. But I certainly don't see all of it. I only see an edge or part of it. Its . . . unusual in shape. Too difficult to describe I'll draw later. #66: Move to an alternate position and obtain another perspective. #11: I don't seem to be able to look at the shape from other positions. I don't know why. #66: All right. Describe the shape and its relation to the +15 surrounding terrain. #11: Boy, this whole thing is a trip. I focused on the . . the shape as it was and tried to . . . describe it. Can't describe it. Then I decided to . . . . . to determine why I couldn't see all of it. I kept perceiving a . . avid manmade structure of some sort. It seemed to be a part of a hill or a mountain. Perhaps this round. . . structure, shape, is built . . . . partly under a hill or a mountain or something. And as I was focusing on this structure, all of a sudden, and awhile, I'm getting again, I see a big . . . . huge dish. . . Dish is . . . . That siren was very appropo (Referring to siren outside viewing room). Is there a siren outside or is it??? #66: Yes. That's fine. Approved For Release 2000/08/07 CIA- DP96-0~788MM 90220001-5 Al 1 . Ei hope _ P. errlno O Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : C #11: This dish is located on a huge . . . dish located on a very tall tower. That siren is very unusual. I . . . felt very comfortable with it. It seemed a part of the session. I wasn't sure if it was outside or part of the session. +20 A very strong European feeling, like . . . . no sense analyzing. #66: #11: #66: #11: I keep getting a crazy flashback. Its. . . Its a different area. . . or location from the target. I know that but I keep getting pictures of it also. Explain. PAUSE I just . I keep getting drawn away from . . . the target to an area I've been to before. I can't seem to hold onto the target. Which area is it that you keep getting drawn to? I keep finding myself standing in large mountains in Germany looking at a Soviet Intercept Site on the other side. #66: All right. +26 #11: This area and the target area are somehow similar but different. PAUSE #66: All right. I have no further questions at this time. If there's anything that you think you can add to clarify the target area, please do so now. Approved For Release 2000/08/07: CIA-RDP96-007 000300220001-5 Approved For Release 2000/08/ #11: I keep searching for some sort of answer or clue to this large, round, partly rounded shape but I can't see all of it. The only feeling I can get is that . . . . you can't see all of it. That its either somehow hidden or built into the side of a hill or cliff or mountain or whatever. That seems to be . . the . . the image that popped into my head every. . each time you read the coordinates so it must be very significant. . . . to the target. #66: Okay. Now. This round thing is different or the same as the . . antenna dish on a tower? #11: Its different. I have the feeling that this round shape is a solid structure and its located at ground level. The . . The huge dish I saw. . . I'm seeing it again, just seems immense. Appears to be atop a very tall - tall tower. This round shape or structure is nearby but much lower than the tower. PAUSE #66: Okay, anything else you'd like to add before drawing? PAUSE #11: Wow, this is weird. Well, I don't think I'll bother drawing a bunch of trees and hills or mountains or whatever. But what I will do is my first impression was this. . . from where I was. . . originally zoomed in and located, this round thing. And, how do I do it. I'll do a partial oblique area. PAUSE Its weird. It had . . . No, that's not even right. Well, we'll see how it works out. It had kind of a chamfered edge. #66: Take your hand away from your mouth please. Thank you. #11: And then it seemed to come down straight. PAUSE And somehow there was another part of it that came out like this. That could have been on kind of an angle or could have been flat. This was the . . . The top was flat it seemed. Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : CIA-RDP9~-00788R000300220001-5 Approved For Release 2000/08/07: CIUM8R000300220001-5 #11: But I was only seeing this partial round shape. Then I would see . . . something. . hills or something. Side of the hill or not, something seemed to blend in here. And over to the left from where I was positioned when I described this . . this weird shape. . . it was off to my left somewhere. It seemed to come down over a hill. And it went off aways in the distance. Very steep. It couldn't possibly been a road. This was a very . .. seemed to be very steep and it came down . . reminded me almost like a ski jump or some- thing. And then over here somehow it came off, it was an appendage to the left somewhere. And, to give some feeling to it, I'll put a . . . . These seemed to be very tall trees, but they're so far off in the distance. And, as if you were down here that same tree would be . . . . . something like this. I had the feeling that there were trees on either side but this was a swath, some kind of swath cut out. #66: And you, what did you call that again? #11: For lack of anything better, a ski slope. . . or some type or road, some type of clearing, a roadway, a clearing of some sort. But it was such a steep - it was just like a ski, a ski thing, it was so steep. #66: Okay. #11: I mean if somebody was going to make a road in there they'd zig-zag it up the side of this hill so it couldn't have been a road, logically. This seemed to be in the foreground very close to me on my right. This seemed to be off to my left some- where. And this seemed to somewhere over here go down. Perhaps that's why I had the impression this was some- how located in the side of a hill or a mountain or something. This was very close. You've for . . . This is all pretty much forrested. There was some clearing down in this area. #66: You can use some colored pencils if you'd like. Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : CIA-RDP96-00 Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : #66: As you're working on that, I'd like to ask you some other questions. On the structure that you have drawn, which I think you figure as a manmade structure of some kind? #11: Yes, that's this. #66: Can you tell me a little bit about the materials that it was made out of? #11: It appeared to me . . . It was really weird. It didn't appear to be an occupied structure or anything, it just appeared to be a big slab sitting there. Like concrete or something like that. ##66: Am I to infer that . . . is it possible to get into this structure versus to being a . . . when you say slab to me that means a foundation or something which has no inside to it, its solid. What's your feeling about that? #11: Well, it was, it was really odd because as I tried to to focus on the structure, I seemed to be going into the perverbial tunnel or cave bit. #66: Um hm. #11: But where I was it wasn't anything manmade or anything. If it was anything, it was a natural type cave. So, I dismissed that as not being part of the target. #1: Why? #1: Why do you say "natural type cave"? #11: Well, it was very rough, rugged. There was no . . . It wasn't chopped out of the rock or anything. It. It was natural looking. #66: Can you tell me where this perception is in relation- ship to the target? Can you physically locate it in relationship to the target? Or, is it a different scene altogether of some kind? #11: I felt as if the activity took place somewhere over . . . . . near this. . . this shape. Round shape or whatever. Oh, and I felt it took palce on my right. There seemed to be some division - that keeps popping Approved For Release 200 08/0 eC#A#DPr9d-& 81 ?bb300T1~bb01=5 this dividing 6 REMT ~ EM -M Approved For Release 2000/08/07 R000300220001-5 thing on the left being a division here. And. . . all the activity and stuff was on my right. I never wandered over to the left of this place here. And the tower and this huge dish or antenna or whatever seemed to be further off to the right and up higher than this structure here. It would have been off the page, but it was over here. #1: Do you have a feeling for whether or not you were looking North, South, East or West? In relationship to the way you've drawn that picture. #11: No. #l: How about distance to the target. . . not target. #11: Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. #1: Not target, but to the tower? PAUSE #11: Remember I said that I was traveling. I had trouble remaining at this target. When I traveled to get to where I was being drawn all the time, I was going. . . I'd go North. North. Why'd I say North. I don't know why I said that. I have the feeling then that perhaps, North is in this direction. #1: Do you have the feeling for the distance to the tower from this . . . position? #11: It wasn't far. It didn't seem to be far. Let's see if we can't put that in some type of perspective. Let's say if . . . this thing here is over here, and this was over there, and this round structure. . . . . . is here, whatever. . . . . . Approved For Release 2000/08/07: CIA-R _ X000300220001-5 Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : #11: It was quite an elevation. Over here. Let's . . That's odd, I had the feeling that it was a square type tower. I don't want to draw too close to the edge. But, it would have been somewhere up at a much higher location and above this round shape here. Is that clear? #1: Yeah, that's clear. #11: And it really . . . this probably has absolutely no bearing or use, but I had this platform type thing and I had this. . was a huge dish. And at one time I saw it and it was a dish and it had a concave type shape to it an all. The next time I saw it it seemed to be covered by something. But, either way it had a point somehow there and when it was opened there seemed to be something sticking out in the concaveness in the back. But, as it was covered, it appeared to be more convex. vw~ PAUSE #]: Do you have a feeling for the size, diameter? #11: It was huge. #1: As big as a bus, or what? PAUSE #11: I seemed to be very close to it when I was looking at it and I was up on an upper level. Up at the top of it. I was looking at it level. And, . . . . . . . . PAUSE 18 - 20 feet diameter. #1: Do you feel like it was stationery or rotatable. #11: At that time, it felt stationery. But I don't know. You know, I didn't get into the workings of it or anything. But . . . It was on a huge lattice, very solid lattice type . . like the MARS station is on or something. Great big square tower. And, if I was to go out and stand next to it. It . . . I'll just draw a crude stick man here. That would be about the relation in size. Approved For Release 2000/08/07: CIA-RDP9%0 Approved For Release 2000/08/07: CIAI 0300220001-5 #l: Let me ask you one more question about the tower. Do you feel like you could have stood by the antenna? Was there a walkway or something there? #11: Oh, yeah. It was certainly big enough to walk around it. For maintenance or something. . like that. Not a . . yeah, you wouldn't want to have a guided tour up there, you know. I have a feeling there were a lot of other antennas. Smaller antennas. Smaller type antennas. Rip antennas, Yagies or whatever. . . that were attached somewhere around this tower. #66: Okay, is there anything else you can add to the drawings you'd had? #11: Not unless you want me to draw a picture of that other place I was being drawn to. #66: Well, tell us about it. You said you recognized it or something. #11: Oh, certainly, I've been there and for some reason I kept being drawn to it and being drawn away from this target. #66: And what was this place? #66: Okay, we were saying before the tape turned over, you had found difficulty from time to time staying on target and you kept wanting to go to a different place that you have physically been to before. Physically observed before. What place was that? #11: A Soviet SIGINT Site in the Harts Mountains. Now, this is really weird. I've . . . There's a road that goes very close to the border of East and West Germany and I've driven on this road several times. Its a beautiful drive. And there's one point where its . its one of the highest points I believe in the Harts mountains and you look across this valley and right below you of course is the . . the fence, the border and on the other side there's another. . probably a higher point on the East side. And up on top of there sits this complex which is Soviet SIGINT Site or collection site or whatever. And I kept being drawn to that and I was . . recognized the area I was in. I was standing in the parking lot. Approved For Release 2000/08/07: CIA-RDP96-0Q PjRt0 20001-5 Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : R000300220001-5 #11: . . in the parking lot of this place where you get all this view looking across at this installation over there. And then, I would say what am I doing here and I would focus back on the target or this round thing and the ground and it would seem like I'm being drawn South to get back to the target and then also I'd be drawn here and I'd be going North. A Northerly direction. #66: Am I to infer from your descriptions that you have a feeling that this target area is in the geographic area of the world, Europe or Germany? #11: Yeah. I would . . I would say it would be rather there than Australia. #66: Okay, I'm trying to understand whether you feel the target is located in this area of the world or whether your target impressions brings forth memories of things you've seen in other places in the world. #11: I felt rather close to this part of the world. And that's why, it was really odd when that siren went off because that's not the typical siren here. And it it seemed like a part of the session rather than being some noise outside. #66: Okay, any other comments you'd like to make? Approved For Release 2000/08/0'x!
