(S/NOFORN) This was #8's first session against an Pro act 8003 target. In this session #8 was targeted against Project 8003x) employing the grid matrix method used in session CCC58. #8 was informed prior to the session that an aerial photo with a superimposed grease pencil grid matrix was placed in its own folder marked with the number one and was located in the project safe in the SSO area. #8 was shown a ball-point facsimile of the grid matrix on blank white bond paper. On this facsimile, the grid square corresponding to the desired target area of the photo (grid square E-8) was labeled in pencil and was pointed out to #8. (Inclosure 1) 2. (S/NOFORN) #66 had performed as interviewer on 12 previous sessions pertaining to this project. #66 was therefore generally familiar with target gestalt (city, industrial complexity, and equipment production). As a result, when #8 began reporting data during an early part of the session which was obviously irrelevant to #66's prior experience with the target, #66 was able to inform #8 that he was not viewing target relevant data. #8 was instructed to relax and concentrate on the target once again. #66 provided no other cuing to #8 during or after the session. 3. (C/NOFORN) Data contained in session CD-01 was passed to SED analyst via report dated 2 June 1980. KENNETH V. BELL, R.
