On 12 December 1981, CONSULTANTS INTERNATIONAL was
requested by its prime contractor, SRI International,
to determine if an event of major importance to the
United States would occur in the near future. On
15 December 1981, CONSULTANTS INTtNATIONAL indi-
cated that a United States Pentagon official would
be kidnapped by terrorists on the evening of
17'December 1981.
This interim report is the collection of data from
eight of the nine CONSULTANTS who, between
15 December 1981 and 12 January 1982, described the
location.(s) of Brigadier General James L. Dozier--
a United States Army officer, who was kidnapped from
his home in Verona, Italy on the evening of
17 December 1981.
