1. Following up on the generally favorable reaction to our
recent status review from various operation groups, several
specific proposals were made by

characterize a proven important asset.

2. I carefully explained the status of our evaluation of
these tests and warned that I could not guarantee the signifi- SG1H
cance of the outcome from such testing. 0 attitude was they
were fully aware of the preliminary status of our evaluation of
these tests but that any further characterization of this asset
is of extreme importance. It is also important that the charac-
terization be completed as quickly as possible. They explained
their reasoning in more detail and their explanation will be
shared on a need to know basis.
3. In response to this request, the cu t SRI contract
will be increased in scope to accomodate the request.
has agreed to supply the additional unding (approx-
imately 8K) needed to run the tests and compare the results
with our group of subjects. It is currently estimated that a
30 day time extension will be required to complete the extra
studies.
