A BILL
To suspend all United States military and economic assistance
to Syria, Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, and Canada until
those countries take the necessary steps to extradite persons
charged with Nazi war crimes.
1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-
2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
3 That, beginning in the fiscal year 1985, no assistance may be
4 provided under the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 and,,,
5 economic or i thZary a$ 8tanQe y,. be provided under any
6 other, lave to Aargnta,:raraguay, Chile, or-Canada,"
7 unless the President certifies to the Congress that the gov-
8 ernment of the country involved has, with respect to all indi-

1 viduals in that country who are charged with Nazi war
2 crimes by the government of another country, taken all the
3 necessary steps to extradite those individuals to that other
