1. (Williams) Called to determine what progress the bureau
had been able to mace in setting up a satellite TV feed through
Bright Star/Visnews. Bill said that, since they had received such
an encouraging response from Visnews on their first contact, they
had merely confirmed our interest by let our cable on this
subject was received earlier this week. was even then in
the process of recontacting Visnew one an will report to us
as soon as he has details. I told we had a request for a feed
and were trying to get specifics from the consumer who, at first,
was talking about 10 hours of tape or something in that order. C-ur
view is that about three hours should be enough, since the successor
might be announced this evening. Bill mentioned that FAX was then
three hours late but sending a test pattern indicating they were
about to start.
