Following from this morning's staff meeting:
- FY '87 budget guidance will be coming along shortly. Not
surprisingly it will consider cuts in on-going initiatives, not
just new ones, so we may have to weigh some trade-offs to stay
within budget ceilings.
- A guy named Geoffry Rickleson has published a book about the
U.S. Intelligence Community. It's apparently a pretty poor book
but it has lots on FBIS in it. Rodney will get a copy for the
Library.
- The domestic transfer allowance Nobility Incentive Pay) will be
increased. Then it will go as high as $6500 per transfer. It
also will be computed on size of family; now it's only single or
married, no matter how many children there may be.
