West Europe Bureau Site: On 7 March
and I visited RECD to discuss activating the DOD focal
point system on behalf of our West EuroPean Bureau site. We met
with C/RECD who will
also be involved, was out of town). We gave them a draft of a
formal letter laying out FBIS requirements and location
preferences, which they said provided enough information to
initiate contacts with the focal point system immediately.
felt optimistic about getting initial tasking
between RECD and the focal point system completed this week, so
that FBIS can be brought in to discuss preliminary findings
shortly thereafter.
