NIO/AFRICA - FRED WETTERING
joined the NIC after a 3-year tour as NSC Director
for Africa; account additionally includes interest in Soviet, Cuban, and
Libyan activities in Africa.
NIO/AT LARGE/ANALYTIC GROUP - KATE HALL
New position as director of the 12-member NIC Analytic Group--home of an
interagency pool of GS-14/15's who write national estimates on
cross-disciplinary and regional issues. Kate also served at DIA, OSWR,
OSR, OEA, and as a DCI speechwriter.
