Had a discussion with
about the GA pay schedule.
Seems the PERSTEP system has not been gearcid to,accomodate
step increases for the apprentice levels in the fie GA. We
have apprentices at GAA-05, GAB-03 and GAE-01. Their steps
1 through 5 are treated as PSIts, not Proficiency Steps.
Waiting periods are 26, E 6, 52 and 52 weeks from step 1
through step 5. Movement from step 5 is a promotion to
journeyman level, suggests, and I agree that we should
footnote the schedule to show that these are PSIts with i? the
waiting periods ppecified. There is one GAA-0 em loyee,
is correcting the record on him.
