1. SIGNIFICANCE: AN INCREASE IN THE PRODUCTION OF WEAPON SYSTEMS
HERE IS EVIDENCED BY THE PRESENCE OF A HIGH COUNT OF ARMORED
VEHICLES. (SWN)
2. REMARKS: EIGHTY-EIGHT ARMORED VEHICLES ARE PRESENT. ALTHOUGH
AS MANY AS 62 ARMORED VEHICLES HAVE BEEN SEEN HERE, 15 TO 40
ARMORED VEHICLES ARE NORMALLY PRESENT. EQUIPMENT INCLUDES
14 PROBABLE SELF-PROPELLED (SP) ANTITANK (AT) GUNS , 40 SP
ANTIAIRCRAFT (AA) GUNS, 16 SP MULTIPLE ROCKET LAUNCHERS (MRL),
FIVE M-1973 ARMORED PERSONNEL CARRIERS, AND 13 UNIDENTIFIED
WEAPONS CHASSIS. PROBABLE SP AT GUNS HAVE BEEN SEEN HERE ON
TWO PREVIOUS OCCASIONS; MOST RECENTLY WHEN TWO WERE 25X1
PRESENT. THE 14 PROBABLE SP AT GUNS OBSERVED TODAY INDICATE
THAT THIS SYSTEM MAY NOW BE IN SERIES PRODUCTION. (SWN)

OF SINHUNG, IS KNOWN TO PRODUCE M-1973 APC, SP AA GUNS, AND SP
