1. SIGNIFICANCE: ONE NET-COVERED PROBABLE W/R ATTACK
SUBMARINE (SS) IS IN FRONT OF A TUNNEL ENTRANCE. (SWN)
2. REMARKS: THIS NAVAL FACILITY IS A MAJOR NORTH KOREAN EAST
COAST SUBMARINE OPERATING BASE. THE BASE IS THE HEADQUARTERS
OF THE FIFTH NAVAL COMMAND AND IS THE HOME PORT FOR AT LEAST
SIX ROMEO-CLASS SUBMARINES. ONE R SS, WHICH IS ALMOST ALWAYS
NET COVERED, IS USUALLY AT ONE OF THE TWO TUNNEL ENTRANCES.
