I am pleased to inform you that The Aerospace Corporation
Board of Trustees elected General Lew Allen, Jr. and
Dr. F. Robert Naka to serve as Trustees .at its December 10,
1988 meeting. In addition, at its March 11, 1989 meeting,
the Honorable Robert F. Ellsworth and Dr. Walter B. LaBerge
were elected to serve as Trustees, effective June 9, 1989 and
April 13, 1989, respectively. Brief biographies of the new
Trustees are enclosed.
In other changes affecting the Board of Trustees,
Dr. C. Kumar N. Patel and Mr. Stephen R. Petschek resigned
after serving the maximum allowable terms, and General Brent
Scowcroft resigned to become the President's National
Security Advisor.
