Funding of Production Enhancement Initiative
1. The attached 2420 is being submitted to indicate a decrease in funding
for the HUMINT Committee PEI entitled "Centralized Communit Database on S&T
Events." We are recalling of the original FY-1989 in funding
that has not been spent to date. The request to use these remaining funds for
does not meet PEI criteria and thus must be denied.
2. We will appreciate any action your staff can take to expedite the
recall of these funds, and will let you know at a later date if they are to be
reallocated to another PEI.
