Dear Paul:
I wish to express my appreciation to you for assuming the Chair of the
Military Advisory Panel. Your interaction with the panel and the National
Intelligence Officers on my behalf will play an important role in focusing
our military-related assessments on the needs of policymakers.
Fred Hutchinson, the Acting Chairman of the National Intelligence
Council, can assist you with whatever arrangements you need for the panel.
I look forward to your counsel in the coming months.
Sincerely yours,
William H. Webster
