MEMORANDUM FOR: Mr. Douglas P. Mulholland
1. I vU to thank you for your willingness and superb efforts to host
the January meeting of the WAOCC Conference. Your welcome and discussions
beforehand were appreciated by the conference and helped us to set the
framework for an important agenda.
2. In particular, I want to commend Art Long and Fran Lawson to you for
their excellent support. As you know, Art Long is a valuable contributing
member of our group and he often provides us a critical perspective on
economic issues as they impact on the warning and crisis management duties of
our centers. His willingness to host our conference is very much
appreciated. Fran Lawson took on the task of coordinating the clearances of
our varied organizations and personally solved the several problems that
developed in the process. She was truly superb in her follow through and
attention to detail.
3. Our conference was very successful due to the efforts of your
people. Thanks again.
