In response`-to your query on the appropriate-
ness of our funding WAOCC activities, I ob-
viously want to respond positively.
--This is a cross-cutting community
responsibility for which no one else
will take responsibility. We are working
with ICS to establish a budget line item
for such activities but that hasn't hap-
pen)(ed.
--The benefits accruing the DCI and the
community are significant and I think we
should support even more of such activities.
--It would be bureaucratically difficult to
divvy-up the costs and if we tried to do
that many of the players probably would
drop out.
