In conjunction with,this issue, our next Users Group Meeting will be held at 9:11 am on Tuesday, 18 October, in room 4A111 of the Forrestal Building at 1111 Inde- pendence Avenue in Washington, DC. Clearance through SECRET will be required. The clearance should be passed, using a DOE Form DF-277, to Ann Bondarenko, US Department of Energy, DP-331, FORSTL, Washington, DC 21585. If you have any questions regarding the process for passing your clearance, Ms. Bondarenko can be reached at (212) 252-2114. As always, we will appreciate. constructive criticisms of the current issue. While we recognize a few shortcomings in the issue that will be corrected in Issue 4, we hope you find Issue 3 to be a significantly enhanced tool for your use. We would also like to request that you bring or send a brief informal statement of the sorts of uses you are making of the data base. This will help us to make the data base most responsive to your needs. Included on the agenda for the meeting, in addition to the usual status reports and working session, will be a presentation about the Information Handling Committee and a report from our newest sponsor, the Foreign Technology Division of the Air Force, on their activities related to the data base project. We have also asked Mike Cannon of Los Alamos to give a briefing on array processors and signal processing. We hope you will be able to participate in this meeting.
