SUBJECT: HPSCI Briefing on The Explosion in Pakistan
1. On 13 April 1988 at 1400 hours in H-405, the Capitol,
a briefing was held on the recent explosions in Pakistan, the
losses incurred as a result and the possible impact on the war
in Afghanistan. The following HPSCI Members and staffers

2. When Tom Latimer called~to request the briefing he
said that the request was initiated by Charlie Wilson and that
at the time of his call only Wilson and Chairman Stokes were
committed to attend but that an invitation to attend the
briefing was being extended to the other Members. The above
listing shows that most Members were present. A transcript
was taken.
