MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
SUBJECT: Testimony Before the Subcommittee on Asian and
Pacific Affairs, Committee on Foreign Affairs
Regarding KAL 858
1. On 4 February 1988, at 1400 hours, in Room 2200
Rayburn House Office Building, the Subcommittee on Asian and
Pacific Affairs, Committee on Foreign Affairs, received testi-
mony regarding the bombing of the Korean Air Lines Flight 858.
A transcript was taken.
2. Present from the Subcommittee for all or part of the
testimony were:

in closed session, after which an open session was to be held
with the Department of State as witnesses. After both sessions
were completed, the Subcommittee planned to take u a
resolution condemning the bombing of the KAL 858.
