On 4 February 1988, at 1400 hours, in Room 2200 Rayburn House Office Building, the Subcommittee on Asian and Pacific Affairs, Committee on Foreign Affairs, received testi- mony regarding the bombing of the Korean Air Lines Flight 858. A transcript was taken. 2. Present from the Subcommittee for all or part of the testimony were: Stephen Solarz (D., NY) Chester Atkins (D., MA) Gerald Solomon (R., NY) Dan Burton (R., IN) Robert Lagomarsino (R., CA) Jim Leach (R., IA) 3. Present from the Subcommittee staff were: Stanley Roth Arch Roberts Robert Hathaway Richard Bush Robert Jenkins 4. Present from State Department were: William Clark Thomas Dunlop Clay McManaway Michael Kraft 5. The testimony given before the Subcommittee was held in closed session, after which an open session was to be held with the Department of State as witnesses. After both sessions were completed, the Subcommittee planned to take u a resolution condemning the bombing of the KAL 858.
