1. The Office of Information Technology appreciates the offer of
the referenced equipment for placement at LHowever, the
installation of the fiber link has been
postponed due to lack of a responsive proposal trot tiber vendors. It is
planned for this link to be installed in mid-to-late FY-89. Unless
advised otherwise, OIT will hold the equipment offer in abeyance until
the contract has been let for the link installation. OIT will query OD&E
at that time regarding the equipment offer,.
