SUBJECT: DCI Appearance
FBIS has received verbal notification, via the DDSf,T's office, that
the DCI has agreed to address the FBIS bureau chiefs on 22 September.
Per standing procedures, here is the followup written request for
scheduling the DCI's presentation:
1. Event: Annual FBIS Bureau Chiefs Conference. The chiefs of the
FBIS monitoring sites (bureaus) will be in Washington for an annual
management conference. It has been customary to have key Agency
officials, including the DCI, Comptroller, and one or two Deputy
Directors, address the conference on intelligence business trends,
concerns, developments, etc. over the past year. Talking points will be
provided 2 weeks in advance of the DCI's presentation.
2. Classification level: Top Secret - SI/TK/Gamma
3. Location: Room 1E74 Headquarters (OIR theater)
4. When: 1000-1045, 22 September 1988
5. Attendance: Director and Deputy Director/FBIS, FBIS bureau
chiefs, and FBIS senior managers (GS-lS and above)
