Request For Waiver
1. In accordance with dated 24 March 1988, this is a
Request for Waiver to increase the Delta Information Systems Quick
Reaction Contract (QRC) to cover repair/replacement costs for a Bangkok
Bureau hard disk. A 2420 for $12,000 is attached.
2. As a QRC contractor, Delta Information Systems supports the
Adaptable Facsimile Printers (AFP) at FBIS field bureaus and, under a
separate contract, they are now installing AFP modifications that require
hard disks in excellent condition. Bangkok's disk is defective. To
delay repairing it until FY-89 will cause slippage in the modification
contract schedule.
