Why can we not install an electronic air cleaning system in all of the bathrooms to eliminate smoke? On occasion there may be as many as five smokers in the Ladies' bathroom at D corridor convening for a cigarette, and you literally must part the smoke to find your way. Also, on the 7th floor, the Ladies' bathrooms at D and E corridors are both designated "Smoking." Would it be possible to redesignate one of these bathrooms "Nonsmoking" so that the nonsmokers in that corridor would have a smoke-free bathroom to choose? I am a reformed smoker (the worst kind), and I now cannot stand the smell of smoke.. The sloppiness of some smokers is appalling, with ashes all over the toilet seats and in the floor. I have a problem tolerating SLOBS of any kind, and wish people would be more respectful of others. This note expresses the feelings of several of the 7th floor secretaries, including the DCI's. If we cannot do anything about installing electronic air cleaning systems in the bathrooms, I hope we can pass a ruling which allows smoking only on the 'OUTSIDE' of the building: cc: DDA D/ OL Declassified in Part - Sanitized Copy Approved for Release 2013/04/24 :CIA-RDP91-009818000100130011-9
