SUBJECT: Increased Competition in Agency Procurements
for FY 1988
1. This package contains the information of the,type you will
receive quarterly in support of your efforts to increase competitive
activity within your directorate.
2. Attachment A provides first quarter FY 1988 competitive
statistics for the Directorate of Intelligence by office.
3. Attachment B are letters prepared for your signature and
addressed to those components within your directorate with at least
10 contract actions and $100,000 in obligated dollars. These
letters represent the first quarter efforts of those components to
increase the number of competitively awarded contracts and dollars.
4. Statistics for the second quarter of fiscal year 1988 will
be provided as they become available.
