Thank you very much for your recent letter.
If you should find yourself in Washington, we would very
definitely -welcome the opportunity to take you up on your kind
offer. I am planning to go on a vacation sometime in the next
few weeks (date still uncertain), but if I am in town I would like
very much to have the "debriefing" in my office, and I would
invite appropriate and interested officials to sit in. If I am not
here, I can easily have the meeting set up and chaired by some-
one else.
I think the best way to proceed would be for you to drop
me a line, or telephone me, suggesting a specific date and
time and I will carry the ball from there. In deciding what
representatives of what areas to invite to the meeting, it Mould
be helpful to us to know if there are any other areas, in addi-
tion to those mentioned specifically in your letter, which you
would want to cover.
