A study was made of the corrosion and electrochemical
behaviour of copper nickel alloys in an water. It is
shown that when the alloy contains about 2D% of nickel
a resistance threshold is exhibited and at this point the
properties of the alloy change abruptly. Measurement
of the potentials of cleaned specimens shows that the (Metallurgy-Corrosion,
