At the request of the office of Senator Wiley, I talked with
25X1 C I lof New York City. is an
amature student of Communism and a writer, and she has
developed a general analysis of the world situation. She has
forwarded a copy of this to Senator Wiley and has authorized
me to secure a copy from the Senator. It is in effect her
estimate of the situation. I pointed out to her that what she in
effect had developed was an intelligence estimate and that now
she was interested in following it into the policy phases. I
explained that we had no policy functions in CIA and that she
might best use her contacts with the Senator for this purpose.

She informed me that she had some very good sources in
particularly one source whom she described as "top
drawer", whose uncle had been in love with her some 30 or 40
years ago and that this had therefore created a bond between
them. She stated that this source also appeared to have con-
agreed to pass on to us any special in orma ion which she would
receive, and I stated that I would make arrangements to have
a place which she could call and turn over any information for
transmission to me in Washington. (Subsequently
stated that the ffice would make the arrangements).
I appears to be an extremely bright and in-
telligent woman, although somewhat aligned to the extreme right.
