1. Delivered part of Chinese translation to Sen. Knowland's
office, per his request to the Director. This translation is
of a pamphlet published in April 1949 in China, and purports to
be the texts of Secret and Top Secret American documents stolen
from the Marshall and Wedemeyer files by a Chinese Nationalist
officer attached to the Secretariat and who was a Communist spy.
