1. Spoke to Miss Gordon (Sen. Lucas' office) re her request of yesterday
for a report on the Dachau Concentration Camp, Informed her the report she is
requesting is a CIC report and referred her to the Department of the Army - CIO,
re his letters of 1 and 7 July
2. Spoke to Mr. George R. Leighton, Research Associate, Minority Policy
Connnittee, and informed him we had no indexed broadcasts regarding Alaska, but that
the New York Times of 22 May 1948 showed that there had been some previous broad-
casts. However, I eoplained to Mr. Leighton that it would require a great deal
of jK manual effort to attempt to locate these earlier broadcasts and if this were
unnecessary we would prefer not to do so. He said he would try to get along on the
New York times article and would call us later,
3. Loyalty Board meeting on case #12.
4. Spoke with Mr. Feeney (office of Cong. McCormack) re memo from Col.
Schow regarding Loomis H. Taylor. (.See memo in McCormack's file).
